And when he dropped 44 on jazz in 02 it was against their best defender russell. 51 against hornets was against there best defenders augmon and wesley. 40 against cavs davis there best 2 dfnder, 41 on suns he did it against marion 32 against pierce vs celts= best defender. He was great at posting up, driving and finishing with either hand, shooting midrange jumpers, using pump fakes, using screens without running around like a mad man a la Rip Hamilton, moving without the ball to lose his man, stop and pop, fadeaway, etc. So much variety which was already there even early in his career. And we haven't even talked about his defense.

Man you just have to take a deep breath. Look at how many superstars Jordan faced: Larry Bird's Celtics, Magic Johnson and Kareems Lakers, Charles Barkley, Hakeem, Kevin Garnett, young Kobe, Yao etc. All during different eras too but the one thing he had in common was he dominated them all. Amazing, I only regret MJ retired before he could teach lebron what a jump shot is. lol

This is the type of game that proves why MJ is the GOAT and KB aint even in the same league as him. He was 40, had played over 40mins the game before and scored 30+ on the mavs and now against posey, francis and the rest he scores 10 on 5 for 5 shooting in OT and he is 40 for christ sake. am afraid that is not correct i have all of the games MJ played for wizards when he scored 30 or more infact outside of a couple of games i have them all. And when he dropped 44 on jazz in 02 it was against their best defender russell. 51 against hornets was against there best defenders augmon and wesley. 40 against cavs davis there best 2 dfnder, 41 on suns he did it against marion 32 against pierce vs celts= best defender. Sorry but mj did it against the best wings on every team that is fact

I remember watching this game... he was absolutely incredible considering his age and injury. He had such a will and desire that separated him from anybody else. The NBA isn't the same without you MJ!!

People don't realize just how varied MJ's game was which made him almost impossible to stop. He was great at posting up, driving and finishing with either hand, shooting midrange jumpers, using pump fakes, using screens without running around like a mad man a la Rip Hamilton, moving without the ball to lose his man, stop and pop, fadeaway, etc. So much variety which was already there even early in his career. And we haven't even talked about his defense.

at 5:38.. what the hell is lattner doing? he brought his man to MJ. I had seen lattener do so many dumb plays during the games when MJ played with the wizards. MJ would have been better off if everyone got out of his way. he could have just beat his man off the drible and take a jumpshot on a smaller player. players aren't smart anymore in terms of the game.. it pisses me off..
