FINALLY!! After 45 years of trying to find the name of this song I stumbled across it on YouTube!!!! I remember this was the bumper music for commercial breaks on WGN's (Chicago) "Late, Late Night Movies" in the mid-1960's and I have wanted to know the name of this song since then! Yea!! Success at last!!
I am currently studying Bluesette and have to say it's not one of my favourites. I've been listening to lots of different versions whilst working in the kitchen and this one made me come running to the computer to discover who had made such a beautiful and professional rendition - thank you! I will try to keep this version in my head in my class this afternoon!
much props to all of you, it's a beautiful song, and a beautiful rendition of it. all of it was so tastful and smooth. being a bassplayer, i gotta say that bass solo was incredible. so melodic and beautiful. keep it up!!
I am very pleased to discover how deeply you respect the melody and changes of this classic tune, my favorite jazz waltz. May you become the Bill Evans of the 21st century.
Such a beautiful, lush sound; made me feel like I was in a very hip, comfortable jazz club! All of you are wonderful !! There are downbeat polls just waiting to fill in your names. Thank you. Peace.
Wow. I'm a jazz bassist. You guys sounded really, really good. Piano is played with great sensitivity. Drums are very musical (unusual in some groups). and Pablo - you got an incredible sound. I would love to talk with Pablo about bass stuff - strings, pickups, miking technicque, etc. Can I get an email address?
A+ Gents!!! Lots of wonderful feeling and interplay. Instrumental tone is very good as well.
Thanks for sharing.

the piano tone is most excellent - but give it up for the rythm crew for making it
feel soooo... good :-) I'm sure you were inspired by Evans - Peterson - Flanagan -
Ellington - Corea - Hancock the list can go on>>>>>>>>
Peace

Really nice guys. Top bass player - one of the few who understands the role of the bass. A triumph.
