Ah, well you're in the boat with the rest of us. I'm amazed people still get the errors with the art.myp and world.myp files. I ended up going into my EA > Warhammer folder and clicking on warpatch.exe to patch world.myp for me. It'll take a little bit, but it did the trick for me. Give that a try mate.

i'm part of the WH fanbase, yeah it might be the king of tabletop, but it's still tabletop. nowhere remotely near the base WoW had to work with from WC, SC, and Diablo. and you're not going to rob many non-WH fan MMO players with a WoW clone.
like i said i'll be back to give kudos if they do break 1 million, but there have been some great / popular MMO's that don't even touch that mark (EQ, DAoC). you can count the number of 1 mill+ MMO's on 1 hand while missing your thumb.
I think EA/M understand that concern, and from what i've read it is going to be "different" in the way the game mechanics work. WOW is changing slowly into an Arena based E-Sport, the raiding is for hardcore 24/7 players only. WH actually seems like the game that will offer a good world PVP system - that blizzard always tried but shyed away from.
I doubt it,Mythic is an good developer and I doubt it will reseamble WoW in any way.This is another world,more lore and a different pvp style.Believe me,I played DAOC and Mythic knows whats it doing.I would try WAR but it's not my thing,I like the style of Age of Conan.Something about armor with crests and such remind me of the Hellenistic world which I love.

You usually pay a monthly fee to play MMOs, not just WoW or WAR. You have to pay monthly for EVE, EverQuest, Dark Age of Camelot etc. An example of a MMO that does not have this is Guild Wars. The difference is that MMOs with monthly payment are better supported and are usually larger and have better quality than those with no monthly payment.

yes u can but what they have done is give u a choice in the opintions to make all ur armour look the same so u dont have the wow clown look when ur armour dont match and yes there are more attacks but close the ga,es is still closed they can only show certin things which is y we only see 4 5 attacks n 2 or 3 different armour set up shot of it is u find the armour u like n then u can set the rest to look the same

don't know who told you that from what I have seen in interviews there will be more then 20 different armor sets PER class and that doesn't the random not set armor you get. If you look at any of the other gameplay footage you will see they have way more then 4 attacks.
Oh yea Warhammer was the first to come up with orcs or elfs. So warhammer was the first to make a board game with orcs and shit. Warcraft was the first to make a computer game with orcs and shit. Now all you "critics" decided WoW stole from warhammer.
Of course WoW is totally awesome, what with it's overly repetitive gameplay, horribly outdated textures and uber blocky models. We haven't even seen proper gameplay of it War Online yet.

The beta footage here seems to be the same as WoW though. People seem keen to cut it down before it's even had a chance that's my only issue. I can understand people defending WoW I guess, I mean I used to play it. I like idea of Warhammer because it 'promises' to be more ordered. Whether or not the hard core themes and violence displayed in the novels is brough over is another issue. I hope they do. It's a change from the candiness of WoW for me personally.
If you knew anything about Guild Wars, you'd realise that levelling isn't the core activity of the game. But of course, using google to find that out would have been too hard for you.
but you have to buy alot of "booster packs" to it.. that means if you play this for a year. Lets say it will cost 1000 bucks for a year, and one booster pack game costs 500 bucks each. If you went to school, you would know that guild actually costs more than paying over time, If you buy booster packs and stuff.
Iffy on this, hopefully I get in a beta sometime. So many of these games keep coming out looking amazing but then lacking the balance necessary to keep it fun for more than a month or two. Unless I get a chance to play might stick with what works and get the new WoW expansion instead... we'll see

i'm part of the WH fanbase, yeah it might be the king of tabletop, but it's still tabletop. nowhere remotely near the base WoW had to work with from WC, SC, and Diablo. and you're not going to rob many non-WH fan MMO players with a WoW clone.
like i said i'll be back to give kudos if they do break 1 million, but there have been some great / popular MMO's that don't even touch that mark (EQ, DAoC). you can count the number of 1 mill+ MMO's on 1 hand while missing your thumb.

I think EA/M understand that concern, and from what i've read it is going to be "different" in the way the game mechanics work. WOW is changing slowly into an Arena based E-Sport, the raiding is for hardcore 24/7 players only. WH actually seems like the game that will offer a good world PVP system - that blizzard always tried but shyed away from.

I doubt it,Mythic is an good developer and I doubt it will reseamble WoW in any way.This is another world,more lore and a different pvp style.Believe me,I played DAOC and Mythic knows whats it doing.I would try WAR but it's not my thing,I like the style of Age of Conan.Something about armor with crests and such remind me of the Hellenistic world which I love.

Indeed, but as you said, blizzard has been here for a long time now. But still I hoped that GOA and EA should have looked at what most players like and maybe check out WoW a bit, but the fact are still the same, WAR and WoW are 2 complete different games so maybe it's a bit wrong to compare them with each other

It seems to be a really great game, but tbh I don't really like the envoirement, it looks so increadibly booring with like "sad" colors, and the armor, quite nice atm, but I want like more of WoW, more cool armor with fantasy inspired stuff, the animation in WAR are absolutely fantastic, but no offense, it seems to booring, I like the Warhammer game's, but maybe I should stick to WoW instead, there's more fantasy and a better story, at least for me, but still going to try it at the release

You usually pay a monthly fee to play MMOs, not just WoW or WAR. You have to pay monthly for EVE, EverQuest, Dark Age of Camelot etc. An example of a MMO that does not have this is Guild Wars. The difference is that MMOs with monthly payment are better supported and are usually larger and have better quality than those with no monthly payment.

umm im kinda a noob bout this game... anyways i played wow.. it was fun but i quite (got to addicted) and i wanna try this but im getting scared cause i have been watching vids about it and they seem to all have only like 4 attacks and 1 set of armor for each class? wtf? can u get armor in this game?

yes u can but what they have done is give u a choice in the opintions to make all ur armour look the same so u dont have the wow clown look when ur armour dont match and yes there are more attacks but close the ga,es is still closed they can only show certin things which is y we only see 4 5 attacks n 2 or 3 different armour set up shot of it is u find the armour u like n then u can set the rest to look the same

Yea, you can customize each armor as well, and you can have trophies hanging off your armor (orc teeth, dwarf beards, elven ears etc.) and so forth.

don't know who told you that from what I have seen in interviews there will be more then 20 different armor sets PER class and that doesn't the random not set armor you get. If you look at any of the other gameplay footage you will see they have way more then 4 attacks.

The beta footage here seems to be the same as WoW though. People seem keen to cut it down before it's even had a chance that's my only issue. I can understand people defending WoW I guess, I mean I used to play it. I like idea of Warhammer because it 'promises' to be more ordered. Whether or not the hard core themes and violence displayed in the novels is brough over is another issue. I hope they do. It's a change from the candiness of WoW for me personally.

but you have to buy alot of "booster packs" to it.. that means if you play this for a year. Lets say it will cost 1000 bucks for a year, and one booster pack game costs 500 bucks each. If you went to school, you would know that guild actually costs more than paying over time, If you buy booster packs and stuff.

Iffy on this, hopefully I get in a beta sometime. So many of these games keep coming out looking amazing but then lacking the balance necessary to keep it fun for more than a month or two. Unless I get a chance to play might stick with what works and get the new WoW expansion instead... we'll see

it may look better but thats because this is still in beta and AoC is about to be released. Besides Mythic is known for making the best PVP MMO while Funcom has only made Anarchy ONline which is a horrible horrible game.
