actually the ban is only against tabacco... so you're allowed to smoke a pure joint. And for the mixed ones most coffee shops now a days got a separate smoking area

@ty3165 well most larger ones also have a separate, closed of smoking area and the smaller ones... well.. they basicly don't give a damn about the smoking ban, aslong as there are ashtrays on the tables you can smoke

Me and my brother, once we had checked the pipes of our late grandfather who died in the the beginning of 60'. We smelled them, and guess what? They were definitely used for smoking of cannabis! In then Czechoskovakia, in a little village. where my grandad worked as mechanicien - no junkie at all, but a decent and respected citizen. Just legalize it and end this bullshit!

Get out of the tourist centers and you can meet a lot of Dutch people who smoke weed and or hash every day. They work regular jobs and also enjoy relaxing with marijuana. In different towns in the Nederland, I have been to lots of coffeeshops where I am the only tourist.

Not many dutch are smoking... for example UK=they smoke A LOT MORE, Czechs even more, also germans and Italians smoe much more than Dutch. If you go through Red Light D. , you meet almost none of regular citizens :-) and who smokes there thoug? Drug tourists from all over the world. Dutch are good and nice people, not generally junkies.
