  • why do the BBC and Hollywood insist on the "artificial parts = bad guy" thing? With the use of artificial hips/knees/etc on the rise, and "cyborg parts" like pacemakers increasing - you'd think they'd be a little less discriminatory... or did i miss an ep with a cyborg that was not a villain?

  • The small red alien on the Titanic was sort of heroic.

  • indeed, Bannakaffalatta was a cyborg, and he was a good guy.

  • Could have been a cybercized hubbie.

  • You do know they came before the Borg right? Dumbfuck

  • Proper Cybermen aren't dull. Watch Tomb of the Cybermen. That serial is amazing.

  • Will do.

  • Well, they're classics. And they became classics in the 60s. And BBC has a low SFX budget. So they reuse the costumes and try to have increasingly more fun with each appearance. So. =P
