That's not what reinsurance is. Reinsurance is when a company sells more policies than their cash holdings can secure so they sell policies or portions of policies to another insurer who has cash on hand.

We buy it, and we have to pay tax on it. We also have to pay the sales tax on it.
We have to tax it every year to allow us to use it on the road ( Road Tax ) our fuel is taxed to teh hilt, it costs us £1.10p per litre so thats £5.50 per gallon, and the US gallon is smaller than the UK gallon so our fuel alone is twice as much as yours is, and insurance for the car is taxed too!
Also, the poorest US Citizens paid 4.3% tax while the rihest paid out a whopping 25.5%
However in the UK, the poorest paid out 36.5% and the richest got away with a little less and paid out 35.5%
To even try to think that the people of the US even come close to what we pay, is a ludicrous and prepostorous idea that shows a lack of understanding of other countries.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always understood fascism to be idea that the strongest will survive, and when applied economically it is GREAT for those who survive.
And so, those who control the flow of money can justify the means of keeping that control through this philosophy.

Is this a surprise at all? We've had a long-standing tradition of government aid for the rich in the US; from mercantilist protectionism, to modern forced globalization via military coercion. Let's not forget the subsidies, tax breaks, allowing drilling and logging on public lands, cost-plus contracts, military-industrial ties, funding for chemical research, past bailouts and loans, no-bid contracts, and other corporate welfare along the way. A 'free market', this is not.

There is something wrong with socialism (pure form), is does not work (ala DDR). But we have not practiced Capitalism since probably '67 but more probably '78 - we have crony capitalism - a bastardized version of capitalism - most easily described as a corporate welfare system.

I live in the UK.
We pay tax on everything, what we earn, what we pay for and we pay more than any other country and I m 39 and already, I have paid out more in taxes than the average American pays in their entire life.
However, having needed to use the NHS, I can also safely say that I would never swap our health care system for that in the US... NEVER!

In the UK you may pay more taxes directly to the government, but in the US, on top of taxes we also have a HIDDEN tax paid directly to insurance companies. If you add our taxes plus our hidden taxes, we actually pay more than you do in the UK.

Take one simplt thing... The car.
We buy it, and we have to pay tax on it. We also have to pay the sales tax on it.
We have to tax it every year to allow us to use it on the road ( Road Tax ) our fuel is taxed to teh hilt, it costs us £1.10p per litre so thats £5.50 per gallon, and the US gallon is smaller than the UK gallon so our fuel alone is twice as much as yours is, and insurance for the car is taxed too!

However in the UK, the poorest paid out 36.5% and the richest got away with a little less and paid out 35.5%

Sure if everyone followed the golden rules of (most) religion (be nice to everyone and share the wealth) it'd be great. But religion is not used that way in 99.9% of all cases.
