slsmg all the way...sounds better ,plays better, i only use it for practice though cause its tuned to e standard. but slsmg is definately a better guitar than the xiphos by a long shot

ahh man, the xiphos is great!

and the balance isn't a big deal really, if you play with your right arm slightly leaning, it stays perfectly straight

or you can just drill a new hole

never played any dean so i cant tell but i think i would keep the dean as i like floyd rose better over edge 3 tremolo but are they all 22 fret cuz i hate that??

mmm first its an edwards al-120 and the dimarzio d-activator in the xiphos sound way better than emg hz-h4 and anyway that guitar is tuned in E so...

the edge is damn hard to set up correctly im taking it to a luthier this week to got my guitar setup nicely and for the strap button i took it from a video on youtube mmm dont remember which tough... well you see where i put the upper one and the other you put it the closer you can to the input jack ..but dont do like me i put it too close and my cable barely gets in ill have to dig anotehr hole

Very very great cover. Sweet guitar too, I got that xiphos as well. I have this one annoying problem though... My whammy bar comes out very easy =\ i'll just pull it back and it comes right out.

you can adjust spring tension on the back of the guitar i think it would do for ur problem there is a little spring u can adjust

hey dude. nice!!!! is the xiphos easy to play? i wanna get one but ive been used to rg guitars. is it easy to switch pickups for soloing? never used a toggle switch before and its like all the way down the bottom! lol.

amazing playability th x shape plays very well standing or sitting ... fret access to the 24 very good welll toggle switch is like every other guitar ... lol

only thing is it was not properly set up at first and the edge 3 tremolo is harder to set up than the ofr and if you dont want it to nosepick you gotta change the strap button place... for the price u wont get better and the harmonics are easy to do ... i recommend it
