I gotta' give it up... great job fella's!!! Guitar man, how did you learn to play like that? I like the fact that you're smooth and not calculated like a lot of people who try to cover Jimi. Real good, I'm impressed! I would like to know what and how you studied to accomplish this if you have time to answer such a question. Thanks
Wow, He aint just playing the right notes , the sound of the guitar is spot on, and even more impressive is the feed back work, wow, really really good.. Chuck on a wig, get some 60's / 70's clothes and this band would be worth a MINT!!
Awesome guitar work!!! Love it!!! Having played drums in a couple of Hendrix tribute bands I will mention that the drummer really has his job cut out for him. Mitch was totally unique with his rock/jazz/blues style. His fills aren't easily copied and his triplets were completely unique, sounding like a tire that was out of round. Imperfect and distinctive. His energy was boundless. The bass player here does a good job of holding down a groove. Impressive video! Thanks gitarr66 for posting this!
this band not only learned the songs but put the most important parts in. All the the little fills, feedback, and the overall sound.
And I agree w / rdhogrihg the drummer is really good but he could work on being more lose on the kit, when Mitch jamed w/ Jimi, there was a lot of improv going on. Mitch learned to fill in a lot of space.
I think its awesome...but i think the drummer should buy a better drumset for this tribute band (for example an old ludwig, gretsch or premier drumset from the 60`s,just like mitch mitchell to get a good vintage sound!)
and i think he should learn more mitch mitchells drumstyle!he plays too straight!
when you hear mitch mitchells drumming ..his drumstyle was a mix between jazz and rock ...he made a lot of fills and difficult grooves .. i love this ... he`s my inspiring example in playing drums!
The guitarist Stefan Edfeldt is the nearest thing to Jimi you can experience! I have seen all the copy bands floating around, but this guy is as near to the real thing as it gets! You should really try and see this guy!!
What can awesome name, Ducks Can Groove! Great playing and singing as well!
