I bought my three first LED table lamps here the other day. They were not very expensive and they work like a charm. I just hope that there will be more designs to choose from in the comming years. My lamps are high tech style and I like that, but it is not for everyone. But this is still early days, one thing that I know though is...I am sticking to LED from now on.
@sbergman27 When flat-screen TV's first appeared, they were valued at a point-point that few could afford. Yet, as tech advanced, prices fell - making them cost-effective for all! The same is true for LED lighting... We are beginning to see this!
My home's colored LED's augment the incandescent's... Know a company that's converging the two? I'd like to work for that company!
A Low-Voltage network (powered by solar?) could also be a solution?
Wow. What this proves is that "Oh, so elegant" rooms look cool with lighting that no normal person outside of a bar would put up with for more that a few minutes.
Now, show me an LED bulb that looks good and would be even remotely cost-effective in a normal house.
@sbergman27 Hhmmm - "no normal person..." I guess I'll take that as a complement!
Words don't explain how incredible it is living in a home where one can create various moods - feelings really - by splashing color in your environment!!! It has to be experienced!
I think of it like the difference between B&W vs. Color Printers... How does one put a dollar value or ROI on a presentation that evokes a emotional response?
