Personally, I would be a BE because of mana tap and how they look good in all the teir things. But, you could roll undead, undead are only good for their racials, but racials aren't really that good in my opinion (blizzard just created them to give a little personality to each race), and thats about it for undead except that they look horrible in warlock teir and other things, IMO! If i were you I would roll BE.

There is no "best" race, but I highly recommend Undead. A lot of reasons: Will of the Forsaken is basically a free version from day 1 of a trinket that most players spend hard earned honor and marks on, and u WILL use it a LOT. Cannibalism is very powerful for a Warlock, because u can quickly regain health lost through Life Tap. Increased Shadow Resist is nice (lots of things hit with Shadow). The breathing is OK, but u will get Unending Breath, so it's mostly moot.

Plus Undead looks cooler.

Of course. Voidwalker has crap DPS, so it's the slowest of all pets to use in combat. However, he generally won't run out of mana, can heal himself, and makes a great tank. If your destro, Voidwalker isn't gonna tank well for you, but if you hit them with Affliction spells, Voidwalker will keep aggro fine until the much later levels. Start chaining Shadow Bolts or Searing Pains and he WILL lose aggro. DOT then Drain Life/Drain Soul, then finish with SB/SP if you want.

I can't ever seem to get into warlocks. They own face and are prolly the best caster pvper, but they just look so boring. Dunno how people can enjoy a class that's pvp spec is about running around waiting for the target to die instead of the big crits that keep most people playing the game.

affli locks ARE booring, true thing! But destro locks are way better in PVP and even way better for crits. Just players are too scared of spending points into crit-spec cuz of ressilence, they just dont know that its same with DOTs. And...Destro is much more difficult to manage too. Thats maybe why you meet so many booring locks

ok well on that affliction locks are boring to watch.. but ive never seen our 2 affliction locks every be outdpsed in out guild. dots dont crit so resilience is nothing and the pet doesnt get all of ur stats so demon isnt the greatest for dps demon is fun for questing and pvp though

Not to mention the absurd Immunity of Warriors to Fear effect, they have like 2 diff skills that gives Immunity to it for a really long period of time. Rogues are the most cheap, they can stun you for a real ETERNITY and everytime they kill a cloth-user they say "PWNED!!11 n00b!!11!11".

I don't think that lock really diserve all the compliment, he is World PvPing and you can notice that a lot of time people aren't even waiting to be attacked and don't have time to think or attack back.

I think they should add some new talents in the Affliction tree to improve Fear a bit... It happens to me like all the time to my enemies resist the Fear too quickly or I can't even cast it when I'm taking too many damage (there are no talents that reduces the interrupt in the cast time of Fear), sometimes it happens too that melee classes just attack u going around and around u (passing through your body happens all the time) and when Fear cast is complete it fails because its not in front of u

I've started to play a WL just a few days ago, my main char (rogue) started to bore me a little bit so the only thing I do is raid.

I've watched a few vids looked at the skilltrees, etc... Seems like playing a WL will get interessting.

By the way I'm not a fan of OpenPvP (I'm playing on "Die Todeskrallen" RP-PvP), especially, when your enemy already is in combat, its better, when your opponent is prepared for an attack, just my opinion :D

BM Hunters are overpoweed because of that "The Beast Within" talent, makes the pet, and player immume to Poly's, Slows, Fear etc effects for a couple of secs(Dunno how much), also it increases the damage of you and your pet, so the lock will be done after secs :P
