I worked at Radio Shack back in the 1990's. Tandy Security, otherwise known as Tandy Gestapo and Loss prevention had a habit of accusing employees of thefts that they did not do. I know a lot of my colleagues would agree. I no longer shop at the shack for anything. I urge you to do the same.

Note to employees, there are better jobs out there. Do not lower yourself to their standards. Run while you still have a soul.

in the uk we have consumer rights so even with no box we could still take back a purchase regardless of a stores policy and demand a refund only if a recipt is presented and its within the manufactures warranty then in most cases a quiet word with the store manager will often result in a exchange for cash, wow i would have slaper hip with the lil black box thingy haha well if it was a real scenario haha

That was hilarious. That is the best way to save a sale is when they don't have the packaging. A huge percent of returns are from people who do not know how to use the product. Common sense says, "save the box!" I have also heard the line "I will have your job" a couple of times.
