on the garmin nuvi 205 you can press the signal bars it wwill bring up the sattilite tracking

on Nuvi 255WT if you press the sattellite signal bars you can see the sattellites position, elevation, speed, location

on my 250WT I messed with the mghz sound and instead of the beep I got BEEEEP

also you can calibrate the screen by holding top left on start for 30 seconds

ok so on the garmin nuvi 165wt if you hold the satelite strength meter for 5 seconds it shows a display menu

newer version nuvi 265w has a few stuck pixel fixers and a cool blue and black box thing

It's because it's a widescreen. The newer 2x5 models show the sat screen on the 3.5-inch as well but the older 2x0 3.5-inch models don't.

if you press and hold the satellite signal bars on my nuvi 750, it will also display all the satellite link information.

I have a different nuvi, but in regards to pulling up the satellite list/lock data I think all nuvi's have it. You have to press and hold the satellite signal bars in the top left.

on mine a 250w i tried and held down the antenna and it came up with a acquiring satellites screen with a speed and elevation and location on the ledt it had two circles with a 18 on the top -- charles

Might only work on the widescreen ones.. couldn't get it to work on my 270 (non-widescreen).
