  • I'm having trouble getting the bearing/rope out of the chicken loop assembly, any hints?

I've already tried pulling/pushing with pliers and have a few blood blisters from slipping off.

  • The bearing size you need is a 8 X 22 X 7MM

    Part Number 608Z or 608ZZ

Ebay have loooooads and they're about $1 each :)

  • Tasty, if you can hear the bearings then they have gone bad. The part is so inexpensive that I would go ahead and replace it. Every one I have repaired has been destroyed and started out with some limited swivel and noise.

  • @wmalchow Cheers, i will get a new depower rope and bearing and replace those suckers :)

  • hi, great video. i've had my 2009 RPM 14m for almost a year now, and i noticed the swivel was stuck today during my session, and i couldnt turn it around to untwist my lines after some backrolls and downloops. When i got home i sprayed the joint with some silicon grease spray, and now it seems alot better, and rotates both directions well (although it sort of clicks once each revolution). Do you think i need to put a new bearing in yet? thnx Simon

  • Thanks this helped a lot! The bearing you need is a standard skateboard / rollerblade bearing.

  • excellent video. Could you tell me what is the berring size that I need to buy?

    Thanks,

    Daniel
