Wow this is amazing I'm from Ohio and its February 2nd and this winter has been warm it was 60 the last couple of days and I seen on tv that it was 72 yesterday in DC and they said that the cherry trees are in bloom that is soo cool and they said they don't start to bloom till April
The Cherry Blossom Festival has been a beautiful DC tradition for decades. We always see guests traveling to our area each spring specifically to see the beautiful pink blossoms.
@Digatone I'm in the same boat. I really miss the district, and I was thinking about planting a cherry blossom tree in my yard where I live now, but I can't seem to figure out which type of cherry blossom tree it is. I thought it was a Yoshino cherry blossom, but I want pink? Anyone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Back when I lived in DC area I would visit the Cherry Blossom. Man do I miss the Cherry Blossom.

@redMotif These trees in this video are Yoshino cherry. It's called "Somei-Yoshino" in Japan.
