I don't think that was a parody. If it was it wasn't obvious - which a parody should. I do a parody act as "Uncle Eddie" (here on YouTube) and the intro makes it clear. This guy invested way too much money and time for this to be a parody.
@johnpyka Parody or not, that guy just performed at the El Rey theater in Los Angeles with Rudy Coby. Then he was invited to hang for a few nights at the Magic Castle, so I think it was money and time well spent.
