All my family are JW and I am the only atheist. I feel bad for my little brothers and cousins because they can't tell the difference between truth and fiction. My older cousins don't go to college and one of them didn't even go to highschool. My grandma and my aunt didin't get blood (my aunt died). If it wasn't for school and the few teachers who taught to reason and question, I would be preaching in the mountains instead of being in college learning true knowledge.

Then it becomes 666 because Jehovah's Witnesses believe apostates (i.e., anyone who leaves the group and speaks critically of it) are the work of the devil. The point is that JWs believe apostates are akin to the devil when in fact they alone have created that impression. "I've got your number" is a phrase people use but in reality JWs don't have anyone's number, not even their own for they are under serious mind control.

The banter between the two "Jehovah's Witnesses" in the beginning is spot on! Even when I was a devout JW I never understood the strict legalistic rules of the WT Society. Even if JW's began to doubt their leaders, the hardest part is getting out of that cult. They have A LOT to lose if their entire life is rooted within this religion. It's either "stick with us", or "be prepared not only for your doom at Armageddon but to also be disowned by your own family and friends". These people are put up against the sword and the wall.

Hopefully, you're not using the New World Translation. That Bible has words added and taken out as well. That Bible doesn't mention damnation, separates Jesus from God, and says Jesus wasn't hung on a cross. Which are lies. The most accurate Bible is the King James version.

You shouldn't get upset. All churches have some wrong and some right. The only church that I've found to follow the Bible down to a t, in my view, is the True Jesus Church.

I know I am correct when I say that the Bible instructs us to not invite into your home anyone like those Witnesses because of their intention.
