  • how to do the cut throut att ??

  • @MoniqueHom in order to perform this special attack you have to attack your enemy from sneak with MUCH greater strength (which you don't really control). You will mostly kill enemies with HP much LOWER than the damage you've dealt.

  • Awesome videos

You've got yourself another sub :)

  • @Sacrament6 Thanks for your support, I'm glad I could deliver!

  • I like how you say 100 :)

  • @boltmanownz i agree with you how he says handrad... its cool.

  • u did know u can already do rolling without that perk its same exact things because i did it without no perks of the sneaking ;p but without the perk just makes it noisey ;p

  • I like your english

  • @TheVayacondios Thank you, I hope you liked the video as well :)

  • @HostMikePushkin Sure did man... Its really awesome :)

  • if you have the dark brotherhoods armor (guantlets) and the assassins blade you do 30x damage

  • have you ever used shadow warrior? Because you went over it pretty nonchalantly even though it is without a doubt the most useful/OP perk in sneak and probably in the game

  • @blackkid856 it's very powerful, no doubt, I'd even argue it's OP just as you say here. I kind of skipped it as it didn't feel so necessary to talk about it, as even before this perk Sneak tree feels way too powerful. Once you get SW the game just seems to end :)

  • At 1:00 Stealth at level 5 does not really make 100% harder to detect. It is less than 50%.

  • what armor is that your wearing?

  • @BigDaddy5ii5d44 Dragonscale Light Armor.

  • I can't get any of the sneak perks :( I'm a level 38 in sneak and for the tree the first perk is blue and the rest are purple. Like I said before it won't let me select the first perk and it also doesn't tell me how much I need to to it.. Someone pleeeaaaaaaassssseeeeeeeee respond explaining y this is and maybe even how to fix it?

  • @Archerfish98 well, it's possible that you don't have a perk point to invest. It's also possible that you don't have enough skill level to purchase perks, however you should be able to buy at least 1st perk in Sneak without any wait...

Really, Fish, I am at a loss of words here :S Never seen this problem before, but did you try to mod your game while playing on this save file? Maybe you screwed something up when you modded it...

  • I am using light armor. Is that god?

  • @milos02stojko if it works well with your build, of course!!!

  • my sneak perk "stealth" is increasing by 5% per point..... i have 3 points and im 35%... did i get a broken skyrim?

  • @TurtlePoof Wow, that's weird :D Make sure you don't have any other buffs on your sneak, it's possible it's not your pure sneak that you are seeing.

  • How could you forget to mention the Shrouded Gloves?? This doubles the damage of the perk backstab therefore giving you 30x damage rather than 15. Further even, is the fact that you can get Critical Charge in the one handed tree and deal a staggering 60x damage if you power attack while rolling.

  • @RastaBwoy Intentionally skipped it. I wish this effect and those gloves were not in the game. :\

  • @HostMikePushkin Understandable. But it's always best to include all details, no matter how broken are overpowered they are.

  • @RastaBwoy Gotcha, sorry for not informing you well enough :(

  • @HostMikePushkin Not a problem. I think your tutorials are very well done. Keep up the good work. I really wish you would have showed off the shadow warrior perk as well as I have not gotten to 100 sneak yet and haven't seen it in action.

  • I thought bladesmen only applied to swords?

  • @Prometheusforliberty My bad, it appears that yes only to swords. I don't really think it's logical, but yeah fine :D

  • It's okay nice video peoplez check out my videos at gamemaniac44

  • BATLAHOOK!

  • THis vid helped alot

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDanielbipolar you mean each perk? O.O

  • @HostMikePushkin yes XD, if you don´t want to do it, dont listen to me, do what you ant with your videos

  • I think you're math was off a bit :)

  • Love your video great explaining. Thank you for the tips.

  • great video. thanks

  • Dude your dagger does more damage ( without perks ) than my one handed axe does... I'm level 9

  • @Thing201 Don't worry, you'll have your moment as well. I upgraded it with Smithing, like a lot, check out Enhancing Crafting video I have.

  • I’m wondering if Light foot could actually become a great perk if you could lure enemies into the trap itself?

  • @magancommerce it is one of the ways to use, however as you get stronger and stronger you don't need to use traps to kill enemies anymore, so it's more of a momentary advantage.

  • Not unbalanced imo sneak attack dagger to the back or throat should be an instant kill. Its what makes a successful assassin, but with roll it seems very easy to do, havnt got that far yet

  • @xxZOMBIEincxx you'll notice how many opportunities you have to sneak up on your enemy even when he's facing you. That's what makes it disbalanced, not the sneak attack itself, but sneak attack on every enemy you meet.

  • Cool! But shadow warrior is the most unbalanced of them all. Spam it and u get permanent invisibility in combat. Also, if u get dark brotherhood gloves and orcs berserker rage your sneak attacks do 60x damage. And btw... 42x15 is nowhere near 1400 damage lol.

  • @Rebelk95 That about sums it up :D

I think I was counting 42x15x2, but my bad, my maths was never a stronger part of me.

  • love your accent

  • Is it stupid to dual wield while sneaking?

  • @AlexanderUrdl1 not at all! When you have two weapons while sneaking it opens additional opportunities, such as:

    1. Deal with many enemies easier

    2. If you get detected kill the sentry quicker

    3. You don't have to rely on Sneak so much, when you know you can kill them in straight combat anyway

  • add quiet casting from illusion and make destrutioon high with a fireball and your unbeatable

  • should u wear light gear when u do all the sneak stuff of heavy an i mean light armour like hides and leather until u get the muffled movment which makes your heavy armour quiet

  • @blackhawks742 I have started the game recently as a Khajiit warrior. I use sneak when situation pushes me to this.

So to the point, my equipment is heavy armor. Doesn't bother me very much, except for I have to press Caps Lock to move slower (it influences your stealth UNTIL you get Muffled Movement).

  • and if you have an orc's berserker ability you do double damage

  • @Cryptically yeah, as if x15 was not enough, :D Bye bye balance!

  • @HostMikePushkin if you get dark brotherhood armor you can double it to x30, im assuming if you had that and orc's berserker ability you could get x60 lol

  • @jarhead1145 that seems correct, but it's just outright laughable :D

  • does assassins blade and backstab stack?

  • @LilJonnyGuitar No! 0_0

You mean, the 15x is not enough for you??? Now just sit down and realize how that would look - 15x * 6x = 90x backstab damage. Let's use and average dagger w/ 50 damage. 50*90 will be 4500. I'm not sure if there is something in Skyrim that will outlive this strike, except for Ancient Dragons.

  • The roll was in oblivion too, you also had an special backards jump.

  • @MARDLAMOCK but it was an acrobatics trick, not the Sneak one... Plus, I'm almost positive it wasn't absolutely invisible + silent :D

  • Does having a sword in the offhand effect how well you sneak or roll. From my experience it has little effect on sneak. I am not sure about the roll. Just thought I would get another opinion.

  • @LordElfiian Roll is out of this world, when you roll it's much easier to avoid being detected. You can roll on your enemy in the situations where sneaking would not be possible or useful. About the second question, as far as I'm concerned, weaponry does NOT affect your chances of being detected (except for magic which just screams I'M HERE!).

  • That last skill you dont have is a vanish and is great...

You didn't have to run away if you had that...

  • @zerocool155 Notice, that I was presenting Sneak DISBALANCED even without this skill :)

Now, imagine together with this skill...

  • i have the dark brotherhood gloves which make my sneak with a dagger and assassins blade 30x with a dagger like urs i pretty much 1 hit everything and im only lvl 25

  • @FearlessRaccoon11 Exactly! Screw balance right? Who even thought of such a stupid notion as balance...

  • Another question, Should I increase my off handed weapon to its max damage before using my dagger. I tried to use my dagger like you did and I failed miserably, so I've just been using the bow. I adore killing quickly so I've taken the assassin to my licking because who wouldnt like a 2 hit kill. But, even though it is the worst thing I could do, I have taken a liking to Two-Handed weapon(which you should make a video for), and Bows. I just dont know how to increase my effectivness to my dagger.

  • @Slininstien Very nice question. You are trying to survive and you adapt to new situations.

You need to select one weapon (2-Handed or Bow) in order to keep it as a Problem Solver. When Sneak fails, use PS to kill the enemy quickly.

Now, about dagger - there are several ways you can improve it.

Cheap ways: Upgrade it with Smith, enchant it, replace it with better one or try to do power attack when you are behind the enemy.

Exp. way: Get Armsman in 1-Handed (2-3 perks should be enough).

  • @Slininstien Forgot! About offhand weapon - it can also become your Problem Solver. When you select offhand weapon you should take something that matches your taste, but better when it has the same/similar attack speed (sword or a dagger).

If you like Dual Wield go ahead and take Armsman, Dual Savagery and Bladesman (Savagery is better than Bladesman).

You could also try a mace in your offhand, but then you should have 2 maces, because speed diff is very big.

  • I think a ninja could be considered an assassin as well ^^

  • @epidemicrat well... Yes, certainly. But at a time I said it it felt like a reasonable difference. For the purposes of the tutorial:

Ninja: Stealthy infiltrator, which can do things faster without being detected.

Assassin: Stealthy murderer, which can kill things faster, however is not as good in staying undetected.
