I remember being 12 and this song was the next best thing from Mr. Strait in the Country side of our family. Heard it at state fairs in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Great times. But then I heard some latin teen sing it in spanish at some festival in 2002, man that was awful. Spanish is exotic, but it just don't belong in some music, that's all I'm saying.

I would *think* the music was live, because of the volume/echo problem (see my later post). You'd think the volume would be good if they were using pre-recorded music.

Blue Clear Sky is one of my VERY favorites!!!

I still remember watching the CMAs in 96, I was like, "What the heck? Do they have the music up too loud or something?" Because it sounded like it. And George was the first act or so, and he was off-tune in spots. It seemed like they fixed it halfway through the next act.

It's not bad though, it just felt worse then because George was up for Male Vocalist of the Year and I was so nervous!
