I wonder why it only ran for four seasons, it was a pretty good series although a little far fetched, there's no way so much could happen in such a small town. Never the less some of the stories were original and quirky. Douglas wambaugh was one of the best characters and he recieved a lot of the best lines.
When he was almost kicked out of his temple, one of the rabbis pointed out he had business cards that read "Reasonable Doubt for a Reasonable Fee" and that he advertised that he is so fast that he will get there before the ambulance. LOL! He is the only lawyer that would guarantee you that if he doesn't win your case in 30 minutes, your pizza is free.
...I just meet Mr. Finkel in New York City! He was sitting outside my hotel having a cigar, and I asked him if I could Have my picture taken with him, super nice guy!

I admit when I saw the show that he was a character I did not like ... but now that I have a few more years of experience behind me ... I love Doug Wombaugh! :-D
Douglas Wambaugh appearing for the steamroller! Fyvush Finkel is awesome. I don't know if I like his role as Harvey Lipschultz more or less than his role as Douglas Wambough, but one thing is certain, he's an awesome actor.

WOW He is even better on Picket Fences then on Boston Public. I thought Harvey Lipschitz for outspoken.
