that's pretty awesome man :-) just don't forget on your first and third hook hand and palm techniques to straighten your hook hand arm so it's not bent, and it looks pretty gold. oh, and possibly keep your back straight up on your bow stance palm up and straight punches. that's killer, dude, killer.
u either have a good teacher, or u jus have natural ability, either way it was good rendition, I was impressed.....,secondly that other Kittyisback person who talked about the form lackin emotions is correct BUT fuck him or her, one thing that is clear to me is that your movements have a lot of integrity, once you have that u needn't worry....once u get more familiar with the form the emotions will come into exsistence, and then my friend U WILL KICK ASS !!...i also practise nothern ! : )
@drchango2010 Don't listen to him/her/it. To be honest, that is a lot better than a lot of stuff I see around. It is clear you learned it just before you performed, but your stances are solid and your hand techniques show intent. Keep it up.
correct. the second section starts at 0:19 of your video, starts with a left raised knee stance, then it has a nice 'big jump' to drop stance, then double punch in bow stance and elbow in bow stance and turn around. then the third section has some some block and punch combination, another raised knee balance, a skip and the running front kick slap you are saying into a flash palm and hook in drop stance. from there it connects to your last section again. cheers
unfortunately, the guy I was learning northern from moved to Phoenix, so I only get to train with him about twice a month. It's one thing to have someone correcting you while practicing at the park, it's another to be out there by yourself. People tend to think you've lost your marbles (had the cops called on me before)
I wouldn't lean in some places, especially at 0:27. I think you shouldn't lean in gong bu, but if your teachers says differently, then I don't know any better.
hey that's very nice! and practicing in jeans is very hard. remember to have the hooked hand behind you fully extended (without locking) great job man, you said you are not used to northern but it looks great.
im glad to honest kung fu

Let me smack you a hundred and one times! That was horrible! No fire, no passion, no love, no anger, no love, no emotions! Terrible!

that is the correct form known as "chuji changquan" or basic longfist or 24 longfist.
there is a longer version, that uses the same 1st section, adds 2 more sections in the middle, and ends with the same last section.
good job

I think I saw that expanded version, does it have an additional jump kick in it?

I think the leaning was mean having trouble doing gong bu the 'northern' way as opposed to the 'southern' way which I am more used to
