any woman who says victoria's secret is "too sexy" obviously doesn't have the body or the looks to pull it off. and who doesn't wear heels with lingerie? i'm not saying all the time, but when you want to visually stimulate your man, that's always hot.
but at the same time i can see why they want to market their line differently. they'll get more sales if the more common population of women can relate to their marketing.
I could see VS wanting to move away from their "sexy" look as a matter of marketing, hoping to bring back customers. But if you check out foreign lingerie ads, some of them here on YouTube, you'll find some of them a lot racier.
Anyway, I don't find VS trashy. If you think its trashy, then you haven't seen trash.
I think VS is still tasteful That pic they showed of Miranda Kerr, even though she was topless, was not skanky. Even though I don't buy the fancy lingerie, just the basics, I like to window shop and see what they come up with for the fashion show and the million dollar bra. If they want to tone it down, that is fine - I personally don't thnk it's necessary. And I don't think it's going to work anyway - Adriana Lima can make a potato sack look sexay no matter what. ;-)

It's like going to sleazy Frederick's. Another reason why they might have had a dip in sales because Victoria's secret is now trying to appeal to teenage girls, I'm ok with the pink line because I'm 21 but I'd rather not shop for lingerie in a store overrun with 14 year old girls. VS used to be for women, not girls.
