I am sorry IMO you cannot better the original version of this song - FS vocal just makes it- if you want to hear a cover that IS better than the original listen to Walk on By - by The Stranglers! Make sure it's the long version with the instrumental in the middle.

yeah the keyboard solo on the Stranglers' cover is jaw-dropping. I have to say this is a decent cover and Ash are (were?) the closet thing to the Undertones these days.
