  • i wonder if the reason aspies have trouble reading facial expressions relates to not looking at the person directly. What are your thoughts, guys?

  • yeah.... you're a teenager? give in 10 years. you'll settle down.

  • @mumenschantz

you are dumb, and that is my end of story. im blocking u.

  • Too bad people taught bullies how to use the internet. Thank you so much for leaving this video up because even if you don't like it any more I feel like you are speaking important words of wisdom for other people who may be in a similar place right now as you were when you made this video. Your thought process inspires me deeply! Thank you for posting!

  • I have Aspergers,I am 40 years old and still no one knows about it ;(

life is so hard for me I also have kids who do not have any idea about my Aspergers ;(

  • @leilaesl That must be hard you need someone to eat those Ass Burgers out of your rear, i had Ass Hotdogs than there was this 40 year old who eat them out of my ass.

    Hope this helps. :)

  • @ItsNOYFB

...do you have problems too? looks like it, although yours seems to be more intelligence based rather than social. Like you have rotten meat for brains.

  • @britters220 Yes i have rotten meat for brains and burgers growing out of my ass.. How did you know? geeee you're so smart i wish i were cool like you. :)

  • @ItsNOYFB dickhead, do you even have a life???!

  • @erewrwify Well i have ass burgers what kind of a life do you expect me to have when there are burgers growing out of my ass? Would you be so kind as to remove the burgers from my ass with you mouth? Comon take a big bite you know you want to. mmmmm. Ass burgers.

  • @ItsNOYFB LOL :P

  • Haha, it's like you're talking about my life! XD You're awesome by the way. I'm a girl with Asperger's and I knooow, it's terrible living with Aspergerger's.....:/

  • @erewrwify Is there no way to remove the burgers from your ass when you defecate? Sounds painful, i'm sorry Ass Burgers is no joke huh.

  • @ItsNOYFB You're an asshole.

  • @erewrwify No i'm not i'm trying to help you clear your asshole of Ass Burgers. This is what i get for trying to help hmmmm well i never.

  • @ItsNOYFB Ha ha, oh my, you're so funny :D Lots of love to you and good luck with your life.

  • @erewrwify No wait please don't go i've always wanted to date a chick who has burgers in her ass, let's make this happen, so do you put anything on your Ass burgers like ketchup or mustard? Does it fell funny to sit? Do you have any clean panties or are they all stuck up with Ass burgers. So many questions so few time, do you know anybody with Ass Hot Dogs? Btw do you have Ass Relish? I really have to see how you make burgers.

  • @ItsNOYFB

Does thinking hurt for you? Because the thought of you actually trying to use those dead brain cells is embarassing, but dont strain yourself too hard... you might mess yourself again.

  • @britters220 Please don't make fun of me, for you see i have the ass burgers. You think it's funny that burgers grow out of my ass, how would fell?

  • @mumenschantz watch a movie explaining creativity and design that will or SHOULD provide enough evidence that we did not evolve from slime created out of nothing and the precise measurements in space that if they were 1,0,000,000th of an inch more or less we wouldnt exist. You should have enough common sense to realize atheism is IMPOSSIBLE. Its a process to figuring out and more importantly ACCEPTING the fact that were created by God. Im done arguing about it now so u can stop.

  • @mumenschantz everyone has a crisis weather there christians or not, God gives you the choice to be saved from your sins AKA crisis, Read the bible and listen to gospel. Crisis in itself is life unless you have the holy spirit i mean look at all the terrible things happening in this world, war, suicide, unfairness, greed, do i have to go on?

  • Okay, one more reason I don't like to watch Dave Letterman. They poo-pooed his funny line about being a whore for acting? Are you serious?? Really?? It was FUNNY.

  • @mumenschantz ok thats rediculas christians KNOW that God exists, unlike this UNKNOWN thing your saying, and what about having a crisis? LOL if you call having God as your father and Spirit how is that a crisis?! THINK before you post. Please.

  • has no interest in these things at all. She loves computer games, horse riding, hurling, swimming and still enjoys toys. I know a lot of the kids in her class find her odd and babyish. They know she has aspergers, but u know what kids r like. I am thinking of sending her to a secondary school with children with learning disabilities, and think she would find it easier there, not only with her education, but also to make friends.Thank you for this video hun, I know my girl will be fine, xxx

  • @0RoseRed

this might hinder her in the long run.

she will never know how to socialize and function in mainstream society if she is never given the opportunities. just think about it in the grand scheme of things.

  • This has been very insightful, I have an 11 year old beautiful daughter with Asperger's syndrome, and she is a lot like you, I worry about her a lot, she is in mainstream school, and has an special needs assistant with her all day, and although she does have a couple of good friends, she does struggle to make new friends, she feels really lonely a lot of the time, and this breaks my heart, where as a lot of the girls in her class are starting to look at boys, make-up fashion etc, my daughter -

  • I love your eyes :D

  • @mumenschantz if i understand you correctly that's quite disturbing that once they found out a physical cure still somehow this 'disease' they'd built up they decided to keep it going in some other immediate worked up form, proving it's not scientifically real.

  • @mumenschantz wow holy shit. you have near identical understandings of this as me. check my commenting history in the last hour or so lol. i literally wrote i don't like these mental labels as i think it can go under personality construct. particularly the NT personality realm would apply to all these so called disorders. (im guessig you know about myersbriggs typology). psychiatry has the potential to be one of the most evil things.

  • @mumenschantz

you are a fucking idiot. I hate people like you. You dont even understand how bad autism can be. FUCKING IDIOT.

  • @britters220 it's not how bad autism can be it's just how bad your problems can be. if you've decided to perceive those problems as some condition just because there are people who can give you that label then fine. but don't think that your opinion is any more valid. if you want my opinion you're a dumb sheep. you hardly come across as the type of personality that would fit the 'disorder'. you don't like being around people fine; don't as much as you can. just listen to your inner voice dude.

  • @britters220 and mumenschantz is right about another thing. generally at the moment AS is considered a 'mental illness' on the Autistic spectrum ie on teh same spectrum as those people that compulsively jitter their hands about you know act really weird with weird faces. also the term 'disorder' not exactly a positive is it in lexical terms.

  • @mumenschantz

you are a dumbass. There is nothing wrong with beling an Aspie, or being called an Aspie. You are just stuck in the backwards way of thinking in terms anything to do with mental health is stigmatized.

  • @mumenschantz

do research, and REAL research because right now you sound like a fucking dumbass, Im done with you.

  • @mumenschantz

no its not, Asperger's is social blindness that is not a healthy personality trait, as an Aspie I can say so as a fact, social blindness leads to social exclusion which can lead to isolation which leads to depression...

and Autism is NOT just personality, you need to do more research, because you obviously dont know a whole lot about it and how dibilitating AUTISM can be.

  • Comment removed

  • @britters220 also you're contradicting yoruself and not being entirely honest you use the words 'aspergers is a social blindness that is not a healthy personality trait' yet you then say how it's completely fine. it's not about stigmatised e.t.c. we're talking about postiivity and negativity right now your type of personality on the whole has a negative label. which you've admitted to.

  • @britters220 honestly i can tell you now you are NOT 'autistic' in the slightest. Some doctor has gotten you all confused whilst benefiting off you. If you really were inclined to have 'aspergers' you wouldn't mind social isolation that is what you seek most of the time. in fact you wouldn't even be relating it with social exclusion. you keep on saying you're an aspie as if to force yoruself to believe it. the way you don't even attempt to describe it but say Research... very non AS like.

  • Seems normal to me......gay doctors man...-_-

  • Hi I really enjoyed your video. I am going to share it with my almost 18 year old niece who also has Asperger's. She often feels very lonely and likes to read or watch stuff about Asperger's. She wants to be a chef/baker after HS.

  • I doubt "aspergers" is even a real term, its just another made up name giving to you lowlife morons out there that want people to feel sorry for you and you know it. ps this goes out to all you scumbags that try to decieve others doctors or people dumb enought o let others run theri life for them

  • @countbloodula

whoa! who shit on your sunshine morning?

  • I HAVE ASPERGERS AND I LOVE HUGS.... i just tense up because im taken off guard and cannot process whats going on fast enough so my body just goes into the defensive tense up mode.

  • @britters220 but when i am prepared for the hugs... im like a teddy bear :3

  • well you may have aspergers... but at least ur not a cannibal serial killer. life gave you social blindness but at least it gave you morality, a heart and a normal appitite.

  • heyy ur not alone i too have aspergers syndrome

  • what do you mean when you say by "looking" like you have aspergers?

  • Just so you know, I have autism, which is Asperger's Syndrome's identical twin. As a matter fact, I don't mind dating a girl with Asperger's at all. I mean, why wouldn't I?

  • @Libramentality i feel the exact same way i feel like im an alien sometimes because i have the same way of thinking like a vulcan from star trek forexample

  • @kallemick

    LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!

ladies and gentlemen, spock was the favourite character when the show was airing among the fans.

Lets face it, WE ARE AWSOME! and we are the best humanity can poop out right now. XD lets show those dumb fucks how we roll!

    ASPIE POWAH!

  • @britters220 XD thanks for your comment its nice with something else than people who cant stand me having another opinion and yeah i agree i think aspies are the nicest kind of people that exists i met some nice people that had aspergers i also feel really lucky myself for being good at talking with people and i even have friends that are adults because i feel that people at my own age is too young for me XD

  • @kallemick

sweet, I just dont give a goddamn shit what any neurotypical thinks. they are too primal in nature with their whole dominance shit..... ive suffered too much in my early years to give a rats ass anymore.

  • i know the future and the past i have light autism form

that girl must be proud on her own video and the hate is a lie and go for it i know you good

    LOL! ;)

  • 10 - you type with 10 fingers in here

  • @JollyGoodFello

Correction = 8 Fingers and 2 Digits (Thumbs are not considered fingers)

  • @britters220 i can type with 2 thumbs right now

10 is also possible as 2

  • I HAVE IT AND I AM A GIRL. nice to meet you.

  • Stop this please! you are not being discriminated!

  • @AnaheimDutch

    thank you, arrogant NOB!

  • @britters220

It is quit ovbious and you freakin know it assburger!

oh and using the word *fuck* does not act hardness to your comment.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for making these videos. You changed my life because I realize now that there are other people like me.

  • Assburger...

  • @Ebinspurdo So OLD!!!!

  • @Ebinspurdo how original.

  • I think i just fell in love...

  • @BullzeyePrO With the Aspie girl?

  • I guess it's been a couple years since you posted this, so whatever kind of advice I give is probably going to end up being useless, but I just felt I should say that you don't have to let this kind of thing get in your way. I grew up diagnosed with autism, so my own personal experience may differ(well, whose doesn't, really?), and during more recent years I've blamed everything bad that has happened to me on it. I've learned that you have to push yourself like any other "normal" person

  • i love this video

  • Are you from Long Island?

  • @19irving no I'm from connecticut and live in ohio now. I don't know about testing, I'm sorry

  • Thank you for talking. I'm 48, a woman, and started Asperger's testing but no longer have insurnace. Does anyone know where I can get free testing in New York City WITHOUT BEING DESTITUTE? I have an income,l but I just get by but have no dependents.

  • I have aspergers and was diagnosed when i was 15

  • Being on of the others allows you a special insight into society. To many people run on automatic and don't ask the right questions. As .. troubled as aspergers can be.. it forces you to define things and to understand them.

A shame it takes so much more energy :(

  • @masticina

so in other words "thinking out side the box" and aspies.. are LOCKED outside the box.

  • @britters220

Mmm in a way yes that sounds about right. A puzzle that just has pieces you can't get. And there is comfort in the little pieces you know..

  • i love you :)

  • my brother has Aspergers and some other mental disabilities and I found this So very very helpful and insightful! thank you for doing this, you are a true inspiration!

  • advice. stop doing what other people think you should do and just keep doing what YOU wanna do,.

  • @krinks83

YAY! this has my stamp of approval.

  • I Love this Aspie She is sooo Pretty and Aspergers makes her Cute, my Aspergers (as a Male) Makes me Creepy and Werid :D

  • you are very inspiring and i have a lot of respect for you, it takes courage to make a video talking about something so personal to you. and i am glad you made this video because my friend zane has aspergers, i haven't known him long and this is a great insight and help for me to be able to understand his condition better :) he also writes in note books, he gets excited like you do to :) don't worry about it to much. people can see you are a lovely person and you are beautiful :D honest

  • I have aspergers

    Im a girl

    Ill be your friend

    .......

  • I'm an Aspie. I had a hard time until I found what I feel comfortable with. I became a truck driver so I could avoid a lot of social situations. I'm 36 now with a wife and two kids. Everything seems normal on the outside. I need a lot more alone time than most people and only feel comfortable with people I know well. I have trouble with eye contact etc. I pace in the house. Remember your young years are the hardest regardless of your situation. I thought I'd never make it and now I'm so happy.

  • are people born with aspergers? Thanx

  • @az100eletronics12

Google it. and dont listen to the vaccination theory, its all bullshit.

  • aspergers is a bitch. I read people well but alot of people read me as being stupid and niave with aspergers and try to take advantage of my good nature and it puts me at odds with the general population. So I would say the anology of the ramps is good. Because I dont consider myself handicaped but if I had to relate to aspergers as being in a wheel chair and most buildings not having ramps. I am limited to where i can go and what jobs I could work. Even though im a genius with computers.

  • @websuspect

Definitly I find that neurotypicals to be a very souless cancer whom take advantage of others for their own success. People with aspergers are generally kind honest people unless they have some underlying issues or comorbids.

  • @britters220 Sociopathiology tends to be %75 lower in people with aspergers than in general society.

  • @websuspect

WE ARE AWSOME because our brains are built to GIVE TEN TIMES MORE FUCKS THAN the neurotypical who couldnt give half a fuck about anything.

  • @britters220 they like there fucking paper money.

  • @websuspect

bawww, its their love of shit tickets... everybody is a golddigger... they just dont know it yet. ass kissing in the office is the same as prostituting... which is one in the same in terms of being a golddigger. :3

  • I'm 40yo now, male, and I can relate to a lot of your life experience/story. Mostly with feeling I have to explain myself about everything and using very fancy words to emphasize something that could be talked about more simply. I seem to get along best with people who are 10 years or more older than me, maybe because of my wisdom about life they seem to feel refreshed by. Thank you, I don't feel so alone. : )

  • well you're kinda quite. K'm guessing you don't like noise?

  • Comment removed

  • i have Asperger's syndrome also, loved your video :)

  • Aspergers children are like lab rats to they're elders.

  • I once had somebody tell me that we (Aspies) fail in society......What a F*cking D*ck :D

  • @HereticLoyalist

should have popped him in his dumb pie hole, shit like that shouldnt be allowed to leak onto everyone else.... cuz thats just gross. diarrhea of the mouth...

  • i dont have aspergers but i have many of the same problems that youve mentioned... very interesting. thank you for sharing :)

  • I am a girl with Asperger Syndrome, too. I frequently run up and down the house when I get excited, too.

  • Thank you so much for your videos. As a teacher, its so helpful to know how it feels

  • lol assburgers

  • @WejYllemS you may not get it back

  • @gorramdoll LMFAO.

  • hi Amanda! :-)

I wanted to tell you that you're wonderful, sweet & good just as you Are! You Don't have to feel uncomfortable about Anything that you do! None of us- normal, not normal, unique, special or "weirdos" we can do & be whatever we want! This is who we are and we should be proud and Love ourselves just as we Are! Everyone has a right to be him/herself.. and about your excitment and jumping, fluffing your hands, I think it's cute and wonderful! I wish more people woud be like you! :-)

  • I mean this in the kindest way possible, don't listen to other people listen to yourself. Sure I can go and study for a PHD, and make up a diagnosis name in a few years, but that doesn't make me the smartest. I do not see anything wrong with you, its the people who have the money, power, and public and nohow that think people are not normal.

  • you look like Taryn Manning

  • My fiction turns into lectures too lol.

  • @AnnaGaldorcraeft

if its your special interest and you have spent countless hours on literature review of others' first hand experiences then its pretty much non-fiction by that time.

  • @britters220 I was commenting on something she specifically said in the video about when she writes fiction, not a slur. I am a writer and a female aspie. I was just saying, hey me too.

  • Thing is - If Everbody's Minds had followed the same Routes of thought throughout History, then our Race would never have Developed the Intelligence it has Today. It takes People who Think Differently than the Majority for Humans to Progress, it's so Simple...Is it Not?

  • Everybody in the World, has a Degree of Autism, which is Idiosynchratic to the Individual. Nobody is really that Special. We are all Weird as Fuck.Aint nothing as Fucked up as people...

  • @bennydarth i would like to disagree but i simply cannot :) People are random and act unusual....

  • @bennydarth

so.... would you tell that to a little girl with down syndrome?

  • I See through People, and Read them like a Book. I can Acurrately Profile a Complete Stranger in a Splitsecond. It's a Gift!

  • For me, being Aspeergers is a Strength. It makes me Rule. We aint all Sweet and Meek, and it makes me the Greatest Rap Performer this side of the Equator, mhm.

  • i understand...

  • I wish I knew you. You seem to face life head on with an excellent perspective.

  • Aspergers is a non-disease for non-people.

  • @Lear23Driver Not a disease but a real condition. This is a proven condition where the brain is wired a little different from most people. I'd like to know how you came to this conclusion. Are you a scientist? The brain of a person with Aspergers is kind of the opposite of hyper-activity. People who are hyper-active have a brain condition where the brain is actually idleing too low. That's why they treat it with stimulant drugs (speed). People with Aspergers have a brain that idles too high.

  • You're an intelligent and sensitive person. I wish you all the best.

  • It seems girls with Aspergers behave differently than the boys....

  • Thank you so much! I have three boys on the spectrum, and I find understanding how things make them feel works best with helping them lead a healthy life. I saw my son running and screaming down the hall, so I tried it, and you know what it felt pretty good after a rough day. LOL By the way, I feel like my boys are who they are, if they changed they wouldn't be them. So they are normal. And I love those three stooges!

  • my daughter has aspergers and feels depressed with it finds it hard to make and keep friends she feels very alone in the world and thinks she isnt good at anything which as a mum tears me apart i have to constatly repeat myself over and over to build her confidence up it isnt easy.

  • asperger is over diagnosed this days..You don´t have aspergers because you are gesticulating with your face and body language while you are talking.People that really have aspergers tend to keep a straight face and straight body while they talk.

You may have some symptons in common. At least that´s what they told me when I went to an asperger asociation and diagnosed me as being not asperger.

  • @balaclavaman I don't think you can judge a person like that, facial expressions aren't all-important to the diagnosis, just one element. Also I've been watching a lot of youtube videos of people with asperger's/autism and I wonder if the average female form isn't slightly different than the average male form, the women talking about having it are often more animated in expressions and voice, and seem more often able to improvise their videos instead of reading from a script. Anecdotal of course

  • @balaclavaman

I think you are right about Aspergers' being over diagnosed.

Those who diagnose in ingorance, impose their misunderstandings as truth upon the recipient.

They percieve slowness to learn, where there is diligence to understand profoundly.

They percieve disability, where there is understanding of what is required in order to be greatly able.

I think that, being a relatively new "disorder", Aspergers has yet to be fully defined.

  • @balaclavaman I have asperger's and these days I use body language too during conversation, certainly not as much as common people and not because I really want to but because I don't want people to see me as some kind of weirdo. When I'm with company I'm trying to watch people in the eyes even if it gets me uncomfortable. When people with aspergers grow older some of them want to start to improve their social skills.

  • I know you said later that you don't like this video that much, but I'm glad you didn't delete it, because even if you don't like the definitions stuff about aspergers vs. autism here, I liked hearing your descriptions of "symptoms"--the self-analytical writing, the running around the house when excited, difficulty using different kinds of speech in different contexts, being "young for your age" in a way that might seem sheltered--I relate to all of it and it's good to hear non-textbook accounts

  • I have aspergers as well and I am in college as well, but aspergers doesn't really affect my life much either.

  • musician Gary Numan was finally diagnosed with it just a few years ago. explained a lot about why interacting with others is so challenging for him.

  • @Swolf943 Ah No! it is Common that people have that Condition! I work with people with special needs who have that type of condition. For you to look down at people like that, YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE! That's my Opinion to that Matter! Kid's and Adults get Asperger's Syndrome at a young age.

I know some people have Asperger's Syndrome!

  • Finally someone with aspergers who is actually pretty! <3

    I have Aspergers as well!

  • assburgers

  • @Sputnik966 assburgers?

  • @ProJanitor nope, aspergers

  • @ProJanitor if you were to walk up to someone that has aspergers and just start talking to them, you wouldn't know that they had it unless they told you so bug off. Nobody really knows that I have aspergers except the people i have told, everyone else just thinks that I am shy, when really I am not shy at all.

  • @babylover0990 wait you have assburgers?

  • @ProJanitor no that is what you have, I have aspergers.

  • You are beautiful, I hope you don't mind me saying that.

  • finally there's a girl with the this thought there was none out there

  • I'm a lot like you. I do a lot of the same things, including the explaining. I also have a lot of anxiety. I was wondering if we could talk on email or something like that. I'm younger than you though, 19. I feel like I fit in, mostly. Sorry, I have scattered thoughts & tend to apologize a lot. I also want to work with people with autism or other learning and social differences.

  • You sound exactly like me, I have been told by people that I shoud be tested to to see if I’ve also got asperger’s, I do have sever dyspraxia and dyslexia, and tat is very difficlt to deal with itself, I’m also very lonely in rl, but sice its been that way all my life, I think I’ve gone use to it,

thank you for making this video, its very kind of you and very thoughtful.

  • ReSPeCT!

  • You seem like a really decent loyal friend. Honesty , to me, is the key to a long term friendship. Things get easier as you get older. You may always be a bit different but as you grow you'll see it's a good kind of different. And as your peers grow, they too, will appreciate your differences. The ones who don't, just don't get it and never will. They will be seen as inflexible to you rather than the other way around.

  • Daughter is 10 yrs., has Aspergers/Autism. Knowing you've been diagnosed and hearing you gives me so much hope that she'll one day become this great teen like yourself and want to drive a car when 16. Love that you're on here and let parents like me and kids like her know that all is going to be ok.. Noone is "normal".. we all come from diff. walks. God Bless you and your family.

  • Can someone help me?

I am 18 years old, I recently have been thinking that I might have Asperger's because from the age of 14 I have noticed I have really unusual behaviour. As the girl in this video said that when she get's excited she runs around the house when she's thinking and I do the exact same. My social skills aren't bad, I am quite confident as I start to talk to someone but sometimes I get anxious.I'm confused whether I have it or not.

  • @DenimZero ARE YOU A HORSE?

  • I have it as well. It does tend to fill up my life as I cannot ever get my point across. At the same time I dont like to be around those with my same problem because I have it through my head that i can change it, that I can be normal and be accepted and have friends. Is this a fools dream?

  • My son is autistic so I was watching your video for future reference since my son is only five. You mentioned that you use unusual words to express yourself in class but I just wanted to say that you express your self very intellectually and better than most college students I know in this video, better than I could ever express myself in a video :).

  • I have it as well - I live in NJ. Let me know if you ever want to chat sometime about it :)

  • i know it might be hard to talk about asperger and to explain your life with asperger to everbody thanks for posting your video

  • i have asperger as well and it does not make us wierd people it makes us unique it made me fall in love with playing guitar and i personally think i am very good at so do all of my friends and they are very excepting of me to

  • @proguitar97 Yeah but seriously: We are strange.

  • i just got diagnosed with AS last week - high functoning... it explains alot about me. I'm a girl too.. I don't think knowing I have this changed me but now I just have an explaination for why ...

  • I LOVE THIS! I am 26 girl and I belive I have aspergers too! I cant get a doctor to belive me. Everything you said is very true for me. I'd love to talk to you more. I think you are very brave for putting this up and I wish I had the balls to do one myself. I wish to get to know you. I can video you if you like so you dont think Im a wierdo :)

  • Thank you for posting this very important video. Your writing offers important information into who you are and how you think. As a parent of young Aspie, this has been very useful into understanding some of the things she might be going through but can't express. As far as fights with friends are considered .. .there's nothing unusual about that, we all have gone down that road. Thanks for sharing . . .your courage is making a difference for others.

  • the wierd thing is is that most of my life i have been worrying that i'm not normal yet what really is normal? so called normal people - people who socialise all the time etc - don't seem normal to me and yet they're everywhere! this world is fixated on relationships, how we communicate, how many friends we've got, how socially acceptable we are but these things have never really interested me. These things have worried me because i see what other people are happy doing butall these so called...
