it's true, one of the moves Roddy had is similar to Terry Bogard's Burning Knuckle from the Fatal Fury games (not to mention borrowing the background and foreground transitions from the FF series).

Yes, but also the Zanrestu Ken from Ryo Sakazaki (AOF), the Ko Oh Ken, and other moves I don't remember. You can google it up if you want :)

actually, it's there as a virtual console release, but why bother downloading it if it's already in a compilation which is 15 bucks (new) at gamestop (especially since most of the games in the Neo-Geo tier of the Virtual Console are already in SNK AC1)?

No not on mame get it on Kawaks mame doesnt simulate the video outbut and makes the graphics flat and less detailed. try kawaks it runs the display same as arcade.

MAME: Multi-Arcade-Machine-Emulator. You have to download the ROM and then (at least for my version of MAME for mac os x) add some Neo Geo Bios files in with the ROM folder. The MAME log will tell you which files are missing if they are in fact missing.

I started playing this on the NeoGeo CD emu for PSP, but never finished it. Very cool game/music though.
