Why is it that the main guy looks so much older than the main girl? Even in the newer version, the main guy still looks older than the main girl? Just wondering.
When I first came from Scotland to Hong Kong in 1990, I was fascinated by the place and Chinese culture.I had the pleasure of going to see this movie with a sweet young Chinese lady and when I first saw Gong Li,I nearly exploded! Such beauty! What a romantic evening...and not even a kiss! I have been a fan of hers ever since. (She should have stayed together with Zhang because,in my opinion,he was the one who made her career. But women....ever so fickle!) Mick Such.
Someone who has this movie should send first 10 minutes here. Any other movie has not such an beginning than this one. It would be an instant hit in youtube.
