u keep traveling down the "ethnic aisle" u might pick up an ethnic girl to go along w/ them products! i'm mad too u keep tellin' white ppl about our aisle the prices will go up 199%! it's in different languages bc black ppl r everywhere plus the occasional wanderers like yourself! the weave comment while fucked up it happens but every other damn body has jacked up priorities that's part of why we're in financial straits as it is!
"If you look good, you feel good. Your life is better. Even if you got three kids, they don't have food and they're crying Go get that goddamn weave for $1000. I'm serious, feel good about you. it will help. Just make sure nobody touches it."
I love his colorful language! haha he uses "sh!t" in so many ways! "This stuff can burn the sh!t out of you and cause hair loss....They said they loss a bet. Bullsh!t. If it's burning your scalp get in the bathroom. Don't try to tough it out. All you're doing is toughing nothing out. You're going to lose your damn hair.... You know if you have sh!t hair. Don't use it."
LOL , I had to let you know here are blacks in french speaking countries and that is why you see the french instruction. I have quite a few black Canadian friends..yup , they are either second or 3rd generation born and raised in canada. I know one girl who is french 4th generation born and raised and yes she is black. LMAO!
I think you're right about the French comment, but it dawned on me that there are quite a few islands in the Caribbean (Martinique, Haiti, etc.) full of "ethnic" people who speak french!
I am black, and I thought that the video was funny! I, personally like it when white people aren't politically correct, and feel comfortable around us. You won't get hit, as long as you aren't a stupid racist. If you care, there is a natural alt. to the masque, which I still use, and love. It is bentonite clay. HTH!!
LOL very cute. try vaseline on your scalp and edges to lessen the burn effects OR go natural and embrace the curls that God gave you. just say no to creamy crack
OMG yes MINT JULIEP Is the Bomb. I have been using that for like 3 years. i sometimes order a whole bunch of it off Ebay. LOL omg sounds like you are learning some stuff. LOL You rock.
hey i got a question. I used similar products before and it works for me, woo, yay. Anyways, my question is, AFter using these kind of products to straighten hair, will the hair at the roots that is growing, become straight? Or will it grow naturally?
@pornoguy831 it will grow naturally. Whatever you put on your hair doesn't affect your genes dude. It only changes the chemical structure of the visible portion of your hair. anywayyy
@trizzytrix um,i beg to differ, to some degree. i burnt my hair and part of my scalp when i was maybe around 11, messing around with my mom's friend's hair curler, and now i have a tuft of hair that always grows out coarser and frizzier than the rest of my hair. i also dyed my hair in high school, and started getting white hairs when i turned 21, don't know if that's coincidence or what, anyway, as handsome, witty shaun said, be careful what you put on your hair! :)
You are so funny, I'm black and I tried the relaxers and african pride burned out my hair that's one of the strongest relaxers I know not to use that one. I stopped using relaxers because my hair kept on breaking and now I embrace my naturally curly hair. If I want my hair striaght I use a flat iron or wear it curly. Those relaxers caused my hair to break more than it grew, it breaks down the protein in your hair. I glad I got the rights to take care of my hair thanks to Pantene Thick to medium.
I wanted to write on part one you are HILARIOUS for picking AFRICAN PRIDE, and really Shaun? Just for me for ethnic kids??? hahaha, I am dyin! Lastly what you know about products for your elbows and knees? I'm black and you are AWESOME and crazy
You can use apple cider vinger 3 days after washing it our with the shampoo. Lye relaxers should ONLY be use by PROFESSIONALS. I see it like over the counter medicine if you do not take it right it will hurt you. No lye relaxers are safe if used right.
Relaxers break protien sulfur bonds. You use a protien reconstructor to replace the bonds. It restructures the hair and make it straight. The hair breaks when you leave the relaxer in long and when you rebreak the protein sulfur bonds. No lye relaxers if used right GREAT for home use. ANY ONE can use them.
Man, I don't even use relaxers. That stuff is dangerous. It breaks your hair off little by little over time if it doesn't do it all at once. There's a whole lot of useful stuff in our little "ethnic aisle." I did the opposite of you and ventured into the white hair section. I found clarifying shampoo. That stuff works wonders for washing out all the oils and sprays I have to put in my hair.
"You know if you have shit hair" hahaha. This guy is funny as all get out! You are absolutely correct, I relax with Olive Oil brand and I use 10-15 min to put it in, my hair and rinse it out ASAP. I don't wait the alloted time b/c even though it says no lye it will burn.
I'm black, i used to straighten my hair, don't do it anymore
long story short that video was funny
and to the white guys using relaxer, you may get the same results by using fantasia ic gel. it won't be permanent but it smooths my hair with out chemicals
i'm sure it'll work for the white folks without textured hair
p.s. i think its cool for him to use black products
i used to use nexxus and paul mitchel which isn't geared to blacks
today the day there are so many white french and all other language speaking people around the world using skin products for colored people just to get rid of their "withe" aging problems. They don't know there's nothing to do about that because it's all about pigments that white people don't have!!!!!!
Shaun, that was funny. There are lots of people with 'ethnic' hair that speak French and Spanish....Here's another one from the ethnic aisle, lol, my husband who is white, love Organic Root Stimulator Aloe/Olive Oil Shampoo. He ran out one day and used mine and now we both use the same. Funnny stuff....
Sweetie, there are french BLACK ppl, and they're are also ppl who come from Islands (black again) that speak french language, as well as Spanish for that matter...even though we aren't the focal point of tv shows, traveling brochures and ads, we are just about everywhere in the world, thanks
A better bet for you would be to use the products made for "waving" men's hair. They come pre mixed and they are not as strong. If you time it right, maybe wash it out a couple of minutes early, you should get great results. Your hair will come out almost undamaged but straight. The amount of restructuring needed is much less for wavy or curly hair, as oppose to kinky hair, so a white person's hair should come out in better condition than a black persons hair, unless you try to go stick straight
I'm a white male and I've used both the "thio" products, intended for "white" hair, and the Alkaline products, intended for black hair. The thio products straighten the hair for about two washes, then it reverts, they also make the hair dry like straw so after it reverts you have a real mess. The alkaline products don't revert nearly as much, if at all. The thing is they are strong and timing is crucial. Too long and you have crispy hair.
please, you don't need to defend yourself, the manufacturers of that product are openly racist in what they print on their box. So you want more manageable hair and there is a product on the shelf which will do that and you know this. You know there is no reason that you couldn't use it to get what you want o why not, until you do the thought will always come back to you.
He lost his hair because the product is too strong for this type of his hair. Choose the right product the right type of hair. Simple as that. On the box it says, mild, medium, strong strenght. You don't play with chemical. If misused, it will burn your scalp there and hair will not grow in the spot. Whoever does chemical in the hair, you must do top quality hydration in your hair forever to compensate the harsness for product. Simple as that.
Haitians speak french. Use Just for Me: Texture Softener. It makes ur hair soft and its milder than a relaxer. If you want something natural for clear skin use tumeric mixed with the juice of a lime on ur face. To prevent hair loss and promote hair growth use Ayurvedic (East Indian) Hair Products. You seem like a guy that cares about his looks, thats why im sending this comment.
lol...This vid is too funny in a good way. Love the part he spoke about buying hair weave for $1,000 and having kids at home starving...So funny!
