How did you beat the text-based game? I found it virtually impossible!
DOCTOR WHO and BRITISH COMEDY are just about the two other greatest things in the world. (Other than you-know-what.) Argh, you have so much cool stuff!
I discovered HGTG five years ago when Netflix accidentally sent me the TV series instead of another movie. I personally think the TV series is way better than the movie. There isn't as much weird Arthur/Trillian romancy thing.
Have you ever seen the original BBC production of "Hitchicker's Guide to the Galaxy"? It was awesome! It is on two VHS tapes and followed the book closely. (I don't know if you'll be able to find it now.) When my dad got it, I want to say in the '70s, it came with a copy of the first book. When I was a kid, I found the box set and fell in love with it. My dad told me about the other books and got them for me. And remember: don't panic and always have a towel.
I am a hitchhiker as well. The audiobook of The Salmon of Doubt (read by Simon Jones!) was a gateway for me, into atheism, and it introduced me to Richard Dawkins, who, as I'm sure you know, was a friend of Adams.
the IT Crowd! YES! OMG YOU MENTIONED NEIL GAIMAN! You are now 1337! Favorite Author EVER! "Neverwhere" ROX! OMG! Wow how many countries have you been to? I've been to Canada (lol) and Ireland (3 times), England (twice), Wales, Denmark, Sweden, and Russia.
Around 17 or 18 I think. I've been to Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland (all of them were on the same trip in 2006. I went back to England in 2007, but it was only for a short time because it was for a layover). I want to go to Russia, and sadly enough, I've never been to Canada, even though I'm pretty close.
Other side of the world? Been there.
A country that's only a day's drive away: Haven't been there.
Salut, salut, merici pour tout les poisson ~~~~!
I'll never sing it in English again.

PAS DE PANIQUE!
I'm french, I love H2G2 (that I discover by the movie).
That's cool you're interest by the french version: the title translation was all a story: Guide du routard galactique, Sac-à-dos dans les étoiles,...
You don't have a very good accent, but it's funny. ^^
Nice singins even though.
Don't forget your towel the 25/05!

I really wish you would become as addicted to God and the Bible as you are to your hitch-hiker stories.

You have starship Titanic!
That's absolutely amazing.
If you ever get that working, for the sake of the Great Green Arkleseizure, tell me how it is.
I've been a Hitchhiker for about four years.

I love your collection of international editions. And the fact that you can sing "So Long..." in French. BRILLIANT.
