Beryl on Acer Ferrari 4000 with SuSE 10.2

I got that computer to and it is very good, except one thing. My Acer Ferrari 4000 Series was good in 1-2 year, but now it freezez and turning off every 10-30minutes, and sometimes i got problem of turning it on. Any help?

well, is it the same Software you have? Maybe your HW is broken, perhaps memory usually freezes and reboots are memory related problems. Mine had a problem with the motherboard and i couldn't see video, my HD broke, it was freezing the hell over, rebooting etc. I gave it for free to some guy and got a Dell.

I have same comp as you, used Vista, Ubuntu, XP on it and still works like a charm.

no, because i use a Soundblaster Audigy 2 but in general ferrari integrated sound is very poor for such a powerful laptop.

No, it is SuSE 10.2 out of the box + beryl (but it's pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions from the open suse wiki page)
