The point of this feature its to simmulate the real world league.

If you play manager mode, you can play as many matches as you want. But if you play Live Season, you can only play the matches your club has played in real life. So you'll have to wait one week for another game. That's the point of it, to simmulate the real league.

This should be made online too, i'll be freaking amazing :D
