i got them two weeks ago and it didn't really hurt, just the first 3 days it may bother a little, but after that there is nothing to be worried of. The most important is to brush your teeth 3 - 5 times a day.

Don't worry it dosent hurt when you get them you don' t feel nothing. Put after an hour it will start to make your teeth sore for like 2 days and after a week or 2 you won't even feel your braces

i havent had mine out, but i hear you're put on a general anaesthesic (spelling?) so you don't feel anything.. you're knocked out during the whole procedure. its only after when you try to eat and stuff it hurts

I haven't gotten my wisdom teeth out yet, but i got 4 other adult teeth pulled. I was put out completely by anesthetic (spelling?). I didn't have any swelling, pain, or discomfort in the gums. The teeth around the extraction site were alittle sore, but probably because the doc had to wiggle the teeth to get them out. I didn't have any problems eating, no pain. It was really wierd feeling though because my lips were still numb, so it was a little difficult. You'll be fine!

Aww dont be nervous! Getting braces does not hurt at all. Infact I was so suprised when they were done, I was like Thats it? It took about 2 hours for them to do my braces. But time goes by fast trust me. Because your all excited about getting them. Today I saw someone crying about getting braces, the person was so scared. But when I was done getting my braces, she was done 2 and there was a huge smile on her face. :]. You should get clear braces they look so much better.

Ok. I just got them. They don't hurt at all when they are being placed into your mouth. Soon, after about 4 hours there will be moderate soreness so you should take some asprin. other than that they should be fine. The pain isnt unbearable. its just hard to eat...

hey its cami! well ive had braces for over a year now and its really not that bad! trust me! only when they tighten or when they first put them on it hurts. trust me its not as band as it looks! couple things though! the cement they use really tases bad! and when they r ready they put this plastic thing in and it makes you feel lyk a monkey
