I've been reading the comments on here and they have been interesting but I have to say that it does take just as much talent to make a big budget movie like Inception of TDK than a smaller budget film like Memento. And there are reasons for that, one its just as hard to come up with an engaging story and have the action link up to that story. The Second reason is because of size of a production, Inception shot in several countries and they had to build actual props for that movie.
I am a 15 year old High School student. I've been told by my Drama teacher and classmates that I have a talent for acting but I refuse to interpreter it. However, I am involved in my High School Romeo & Juliet play as Romeo, although I want to become a succesful film producer & director such as Christopher Nolan. But in order for me to become that.... I have to become an actor, everything in this World costs money. All I honestly want to do is... bring my imaginations to reality, that's all.
listen, these days you can make a movie for cheap. real cheap. you wanna be a director? get a camera and make a film, its really the only way to learn. read about Robert Rodriguez, he made an action movie for $7,000 when he was like 23, now hes a famous director.

@TomTomSATNAV3000 I would research whichever school you are most interested in and see what they have to offer. You may not have any knowledge on cameras, so go out and find one and figure out how to use one. You wont learn how to use one until you use one.
As a side note, Christopher Nolan did not go to film school. He simply learned by getting a camera and filming stuff. It really does teach you alot about filmmaking. good luck!
@TomTomSATNAV3000 Look at Quentin Tarantino, he never when to film school or anything, he just got a camera, low budget and made a film and look at him now. It's also really easy to make a cheap film. I made a psychological horror with some friends and it cost me under £10 for the props.

Great Director. I just bought Memento but have yet to see it. As much as I liked Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Inception, I still think The Prestige is bar far his best movie.

Bane has rezzed Ras Al Gul from the grave, and they have both planted C4 all over Gotham and are preparing to blow it up. So Batman finds Bane and fights him on top of the statue of liberty. Rahs Al Gul takes out a gun and shoots Batman in the head, Batman dies, just as Rahs Al Gul is about to blow up the city Catwoman stabs him in the heart with her claw and kicks Bane off the statue of liberty. Gordon kills himself also.
The Bronze Age Huntress was Helena Wayne, the daughter of the Batman and Catwoman. A trade paperback collection entitled The Huntress: Darknight Daughter was published in December 2006. It collects DC Super Stars #17 and stories from Batman Family #18 - 20, as well as the backup stories from Wonder Woman #271 - 287, #289 - 290 and #294-295. they say this movie is the last batman movie so i think nolan will revive helena to continue the bloodline/story.

Did Nolan sit around playing with himself when he came up with the title? Its lame and uninspired. It seems lazy. Please change the title Nolan, there is still time. And Bane as the villain? Despite what warner brothers say, Nolan still has the right to change the title to anything he wishes before the promotion begins. Just so you can relate. remember how the "wii" was called "nintendo revolution" for the longest time.
And I have no problem with the title because Nolan's titles are always given meaning at the wrap up of the of the movie not before it comes out
@regulator619 Nolan has confirmed it himself that 'The Dark Knight Rises' is in fact the title. It's the perfect title for the third film as no doubt he will rise back up to being Gotham's hero as he was at the beginning of The Dark Knight and it also fits with what Bruce Wayne's father said in Batman Begins - ''Why do we fall?''
so Batman 3 will have a British director, British producers, British actors playing the hero and the villain and British actors playing the supporting roles like Commisioner Gordon and Alfred.
one of the things that sets nolan apart from other blockbuster film directors is his commitment to character and plot and grounding the story in the real world. look at the star wars prequels. big on special effects, weak on character and plot. batman begins and the dark knight lived up to being outstanding films. 'inception' was awesome too. with nolan and his team a film's in good hands.
If u want someone to play bane, don't choose Hardy who was the source of comic relief in Inception but someone else. Personally I am a little concerned as to how Bane is going to be done in this film. Christopher Nolan tries to use as little CGI and special effects as possible. So I don't know how Bane will be able to fit in Nolan's vision of Batman since his films are supposed to be much more realistic and are supposed to encompass what Batman would be like if he existed in our world. Because Bane is a huge guy. He is gigantic. I doubt Tom Hardy is willing to seriously roid out for the role. Any thoughts?
@DeadmanInc336 Have you ever seen a film called Bronson? Tom Hardy is the perfect casting choice for Bane. As for how Bane will be portrayed in a realistic fashion, I don't know. I have been following Christopher Nolan since his debut film, The Following and he has NEVER let me down. Batman is my favourite character of all time and Nolan has helped the character reach dizzying heights. He hasn't dissappointed me with any of the characters thus far so, I trust him in bringing Bane to the screen.

Christopher Nolan is, without a doubt, the best director ever! I can attest to that. I admit, I used to be ignorant and stupid and did not like Batman (what was wrong with me?!!?). However, I watched Batman Begins and I instantly took a liking to him. Nolan actually got me liking this character who I childishly did not like! And after The Dark Knight (my favourite comic book movie) he got me LOVING Batman! Now I am an avid Batman fan, all because of Nolan! Nolan is amazing!

Bane has rezzed Ras Al Gul from the grave, and they have both planted C4 all over Gotham and are preparing to blow it up. So Batman finds Bane and fights him on top of the statue of liberty. Rahs Al Gul takes out a gun and shoots Batman in the head, Batman dies, just as Rahs Al Gul is about to blow up the city Catwoman stabs him in the heart with her claw and kicks Bane off the statue of liberty. Gordon kills himself also.

It collects DC Super Stars #17 and stories from Batman Family #18 - 20, as well as the backup stories from Wonder Woman #271 - 287, #289 - 290 and #294-295. they say this movie is the last batman movie so i think nolan will revive helena to continue the bloodline/story.

Did Nolan sit around playing with himself when he came up with the title? Its lame and uninspired. It seems lazy. Please change the title Nolan, there is still time. And Bane as the villain? In the entire rogues gallery you couldn't find a better enemy? Or one that hasn't been used yet? Catwoman is cool and Hathaway is a good actress and hot. But Bane makes me nervous.

Despite what warner brothers say, Nolan still has the right to change the title to anything he wishes before the promotion begins. Just so you can relate. remember how the "wii" was called "nintendo revolution" for the longest time.
And I have no problem with the title because Nolan's titles are always given meaning at the wrap up of the of the movie not before it comes out

It's the perfect title for the third film as no doubt he will rise back up to being Gotham's hero as he was at the beginning of The Dark Knight and it also fits with what Bruce Wayne's father said in Batman Begins - ''Why do we fall?''

one of the things that sets nolan apart from other blockbuster film directors is his commitment to character and plot and grounding the story in the real world. look at the star wars prequels. big on special effects, weak on character and plot. batman begins and the dark knight lived up to being outstanding films. 'inception' was awesome too. with nolan and his team a film's in good hands.

If u want someone to play bane, don't choose Hardy who was the source of comic relief in Inception but someone else. Someone like Dwayne Johnson or Michael Clarke Duncan or maybe even Antonio Banderas! Not someone who is white! Bane was never white in the comics or Animated series! Personally I am a little concerned as to how Bane is going to be done in this film. Christopher Nolan tries to use as little CGI and special effects as possible. So I don't know how Bane will be able to fit in Nolan's vision of Batman since his films are supposed to be much more realistic and are supposed to encompass what Batman would be like if he existed in our world. Because Bane is a huge guy. He is gigantic. I doubt Tom Hardy is willing to seriously roid out for the role. Any thoughts?

I have been following Christopher Nolan since his debut film, The Following and he has NEVER let me down. Batman is my favourite character of all time and Nolan has helped the character reach dizzying heights. He hasn't dissappointed me with any of the characters thus far so, I trust him in bringing Bane to the screen.

Christopher Nolan is, without a doubt, the best director ever! I can attest to that. I admit, I used to be ignorant and stupid and did not like Batman (what was wrong with me?!!?). However, I watched Batman Begins and I instantly took a liking to him. Nolan actually got me liking this character who I childishly did not like! And after The Dark Knight (my favourite comic book movie) he got me LOVING Batman! Now I am an avid Batman fan, all because of Nolan! Nolan is amazing!
