  • What material is the vacuum table itself made of? Is this elastic? How can you get a good seal with the mdf-board if there isn't any gasket used?

  • that is wicked cool, I had no idea the vacum had enough power to suck throuch MDF... how thick is the MDF sheet used? 1/2 inch?

  • The superficial sheet used is just plain MDF...being porous the vacuum can suck through this piece, cut slightly into it and still protect the table from any marks

  • is the middle piece a sacrificial plate used for through drilling or does it simply distribute the vacuum? if it's the latter, how does it do this? i don't see any holes in the material
