  • I am learning this song and it sounds easy but its not

  • It's a pianoforte?? The sound is different?

  • Wow nice...

but i was looking for piano if there is one

  • why's it in a different key/tune?

  • @mizzleading863 Period instruments are typical tuned to a lower pitch. A=415Hz is typically used for Baroque performances and A=430Hz for Classical (A=440Hz is used on modern instruments.) Compare... Scarlatti Sonata K380 Modern - watch?v=HpzZ0epqKwE Classical - watch?v=VrqpRHSeojw Baroque - watch?v=PcABQXPbRhY Mozart Eine Kleine Nachtmusik Modern - watch?v=GT7_Y1pIBb4 Classical - watch?v=wKhH2hRa-WQ Baroque - watch?v=xmLBxR1aJ

  • One of the best interpretations of Haydn's concerto on youtube!

  • grozav !!!!! bravo !

  • performance is nice, but a little nondescript perhaps

  • Just LOVE it )

  • love the clarity of that instrument, so crisp and lovely. The way it pokes your ears, so colorful and clearly defined.

  • Hehe, I wasn't expecting a period instrument such as that piano x3 (it sounds really old). This is amazing <3

  • @Masolino1 I wanna know the same thing!!! Anyone know? It's a beautiful work of art.

  • The Hob. on that is actually XVIII:III. Hob. XVIII:II is Piano Concerto No. 6 (with violin) in F Maj.

  • Fantastico!!!

  • This is a very great recording of the piece. Much faster than I thought, but then again, I'm still learning it. Great execution of dynamics. Really made this movement sounded grand.

  • Perfect...

the piano sounds like a harpsichird though. o.O

    Really great recording. SERIOUSLY!

  • The pianoforte is essentially an advanced harpsichord used mostly during the mid to late 18th century. It continually developed into the piano we know and love today :) I personally love the usage of period instruments, however getting a hold of a playable pianoforte for concertos is rare and almost obsolete.

  • Great! who is it played by?

    When was it recorded?

    its lovely and sincere!

  • Eines der schönsten Klavierkonzerte!!

  • Haydn can make a simple classical piece so great. That's what amazes me about him.

  • Wonderfull piece from the artistic mentor of the genious Wolfgang Amade`....

  • oh....

    the tuning is???

    a=415????

  • A = 430 is the Viennese classical standard I believe.

  • thanks harmonico 101

  • @HARMONICO101 that's really low, i usually play a=440 or even 442, i didn't knew there was such a difference between different countries

  • @mpianista it's a difference between ages: in the eighteen century the tune was lower than today with a tone i think... anyway you can google it to find the best answer

  • @HARMONICO101 incorrect
