This was great! I have read the books by Don Richardson and listened to the many stories of Otto Koning, both missionaries in New Guinea. Very enlightening about how Jesus is taught to the people and how something in each tribe's culture can relate to the belief in one God.

Homosexuality is an abomination according to the bible. 'St.' Paul clarifies this in the new testament in his love filled letters. There are rules layed out in the OT regarding how to treat your slave. One is that if you hit your slave and the slave dies withing 2 days of the abuse you are responsible, otherwise your ok!
The story you spoke of was just another form of the Mysteries taught, but in another part of the world. The Jesus/Momitesuah (sp?) story is also par for the course of "Jesus stories" or like-stories taught for centuries by the Priest-class or Initiates into the Mystery Religion of that area, or their Secret Society sect. Glad to see Jesus' teachings have prevailed!
