I mean, I get that 'Guiding Light' is a soap but how come they made Natalia and Olivia characters in love with each other and they say most of the time they were "together" and we haven't seen a single kiss from that "couple". I mean this is ridiculous. I remember one kiss, but they weren't couple back then. So other couples could kiss, but not them. What kind of script is that?
@NotIntoLabelss I know, right?? Otalia was a great story line, but to not allow them to be a real intimate couple was absurd. They were only allowed to hold hands, hug and always stop short of kissing. Watching the actresses together in Venice is like seeing Otalia realized at last.

I've been watching several web series, one was Steamboat w/a lot of Gl alumni, very funny, and another one called Gotham: the Series, so I could get my Martha Byrne fix;) Gotham and Venice are the best I've seen for drama so far. These web isodes have more quality in 5 minutes that some shows can barely muster up in an hour. This is where Otalia should've progressed to on Gl, kinda. Also guys, you don't have to choose between Angelina &Crystal in a dream; you can have both, lol
I love Gina and Ani! Love the storyline with Lara being an alcoholic. It's bringing Giani closer together. I hope they reunite before the season 2 finale.

I tried getting the DVD, but the shopping cart was automatically set for 4 copies. I tried to update it to one copy and it would not let me. Then I tried to emai them to inform about this problem and the system would not allow me to do that either. I am writing to let somebody know at the company to fix the mistake. JL and CC kissing scene, i had to watch it over and over again because they are so cute and i hated it when they didn't have a kissing scene on guidinglight well once but not more. Love this two! they are so cute together!
I think CC and JL liked the kissing. They probably wondered themselves what it would be like to perform that long awaited kiss. I know Venice committed to Gina & Ani kiss immediately, giving the Otalia fans what they were shortchanged at GL. Thanks Venice for delivering though it couldn't be as romantic as it would have been for the Otalia storyline.

@heidos7 You can only purchase Season 1 of Venice the Series (as a DVD) at the website, Venicetheseries. The money we pay for a subscription makes Venice the Series possible. If we don't pay, there is no series!

I tried getting the DVD, but the shopping cart was automatically set for 4 copies. I tried to update it to one copy and it would not let me. Then I tried to emai them to inform about this problem and the system would not allow me to do that either. I am writing to let somebody know at the company to fix the mistake. It would be sad if more people are unable to support Venice The Series due to web problems. I wish you great success.

I love Venice, especially since I get to see Crystal and Jessica together again. And if it doesn't have all the sex that European films have, so what. I'm invested in these two and adore them. I can't say that to any other European couple that I've seen on German and Spanish soap operas with lesbian characters.

Yeah definitely... British and some other European and Canadian films are more intense, deeper, less superficial, more passionate and sexy, even if there are no sex scenes.
I also like some American films, for instants: Longtime Companion, 1990; Fried Green Tomatoes (Whistle Stop Cafe) 1991; Two Girls In Love, 1995; Bound, 1996; High Art (CA / USA 1998); Milk, 2008 etc.

JL and CC kissing scene, i had to watch it over and over again because they are so cute and i hated it when they didn't have a kissing scene on guidinglight well once but not more. Love this two! they are so cute together!

I think CC and JL liked the kissing. They probably wondered themselves what it would be like to perform that long awaited kiss. I know Venice committed to Gina & Ani kiss immediately, giving the Otalia fans what they were shortchanged at GL. Thanks Venice for delivering though it couldn't be as romantic as it would have been for the Otalia storyline.

Meanwhile I saw most of their former Otalia relationship in GL.
It's crazy to imagine that people were watching the story over such a long time, just to see almost-kisses and uptight behaviour.
But well played Otalia characteristics!
There's so much violence & machismo on TV & films but on the other hand these (American) concepts of conventions from the 18th/19th century. It's still a crazy society...
Much humour and "Venice" stories are needed... ;-))

@Ilkamy So true. In this time and age it's weird to see that this kind of stuff is still happening. But I guess they had the right to be cautious, the "Ellen" sitcom was cancelled because the series became to much about gay issues.
But hey, the story of Otalia still rocked anyway, even though we got only "almost-kisses" ;). So I will definitely try to watch the Venice serie.
