His first lasers do upwards of 900 damage to me, how did you get it to 300 or so? What do you have equipped? What level are you?

FF7, Chrono Cross, and Chrono Trigger are my favorite ATB RPG's, You gotta torrent this game, the most excellent and easy to understand complex story. Beautifully written and wonderful music.

I restarted the game again and i was like 10+ levels higher then my old file, its because i did all the side quests :P

now it only does like 200-300 damage ;D

It's true Lavos was a pretty final boss. I also think they got the music mixed up this one would have fit better for the real final boss. CT DS is supposed to have a new final boss though I hope its better.

i was actualy pretty disapointed with this battle.... its great and everything, music owns, but the guys were just TOO easy... my guys wernt too high level, either. i used crono, robo, and frog, they all had maxed hp, none had maxed MP, and all had final techs.i didnt use any guides to give them the best gear ever, but i think i had the ultimate weapons for each. anyways... the final boss was pretty easy... i was sad.. oh well good game

You need to download a program of which I forgot the name. It converts recorded games directly into AVI format. For ZSNES, of course.

pretty cool, but I found the last battles a little bit too easy. The only annoying thing about them was that hidden blow attack that lavos humanoid form used since it killed one of your party members instantly. Aside from that just falcon hit/3d attack.

Oh and I've used the same party setup you did^^

Why? Why do I need Robo to fight with Crono and Frog. This was the time that helped me beat Lavos the last time when I played Final Fantasy Chronicles. And, my level for the three when I fought it was much higher... around 58.
