Hey, guys. Protip: If there is a do not die req on a challenge, just save and quit every time you die. You can start off where your checkpoint was, and still complete the challenge. Works with Iron, too. Makes life a lot easier.

Bungie decided to take the blind skull off, Because it was too hard for most players, and everyone was complaining. So after the first Laso they took it off. They kept the name because it would sound stupid saying "legendary most skulls on" or something similar.

So, even IF this wasn't All Skulls On, that wouldn't matter anyway because I've beaten it. But it is, the stats link is right there in the description, and the full saved film is even still available. I can't be bothered to try and persuade people who have the truth right in front of their eyes already.

@MrFiredude251 Its LASO. The reason why the elites sheild goes down is because of the plasma pistol. Additionally if he shot the elite in the shins, it'll go down even faster. Just spamming the trigger will take it down.

Hey just fyi, try getting on the warthog right away and shoot the AA gun. Most times you won't have any tanks to fight. Also pick up the plasma grenade launcher when leaving the facility at about 357 on this vid. Helps two have two of them when taking down the hunters. Thanks a lot for the vid really helped me get through this on LASO. I know he did this on a speed run just saying not fighting tanks and taking down hunters faster is easier and faster.

@joefradder save and quit when you die. then your start from the last check point. Kind of cheap but effective. I can get through the level pretty easily until the end guy. What a pain in the ass. I got the sword guy to charge me while standing on the edge and then jet packing out and away, he just charges off the edge and home free.

I had a tough time at the begging and the end, everything else was pretty cheese. I did this challenge like 4 times. For myself and my nephews. I don't know how to make a vid or I would. 3 out of the 4 times I did this the tanks were no where to be found. Try getting the sword guy to run off the edge, I had so many problems fighting him.

i dont know how you took that elites shield out. i used an overcharge plasma pistol, and two plasma grenades, and a frag grenade. His shield still enough to withstand three or four DMR shots. I had to lure him outside, and get him to lunge at me and fall off the spire.

@thestout77 In Halo:Reach the overcharge is significantly nerfed. On a Mythic run it usually takes 3 overcharges to drop their shields and that's also about the full battery of the plasma pistols you pickup. He used the primary fire which drops their shields in I dunno... like 7 shots or so. Plasma pistol primary fire is the new noob combo.

@MW2Baillistick i managed to see it happen more than once with all skulls on, in legendary. they do not disappear if only some skulls are turned on. i think the "key skulls" are some like "black eye" or "tilt", but i am not sure about tilt.

OMG. I just found a way to make the end with the elite SOOOOO much easier. Get him to chase you down outside and use your jetpack to fly over the edge. He'll follow you and jump off the spire!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!! If you save and quit when you die, it will respawn you at last checkpoint and still count the challenge once done.

I realized that whenever you die, if you Save and Quit before you respawn, and then click "Resume Solo Campaign" you spawn in at your last checkpoint, so you can basically die as many times as you want and not have to return to the start.

But will that work? Will I still get the Weekly Challenge for that or will it glitch up?

Not to down play how amazing this gameplay is, and MasterRC himself, but I'm astounded at how much harder this is when you have 4 people playing rather than just 1. Aside from the fact that you have to start the entire mission over when you play solo. But, besides the sheer number of enemies you have to face when playing with 4 people, they throw in engineers. That made the last checkpoint nearly impossible.

Yea; respect to Ultimate RC. He's a smart guy. I just pretty much figured it out half way through for the weekly challenge in about ten minuets. I came down here for affirmation.

I did it a little different at the point RC was at 3.30 I got the warthog and propped it up against the corrugated iron structure to run up the building and past the elites. This made it more difficult as you had to run past the Zealot, that bugger.

You're only limited by what you say you cant do.

A buddy of mine started once and got to the falcon, just under three hours later.... Both got booted from live then, started again, three hours and seventeen minutes into it, he gets caught staying up past his bed time and shuts off his box after getting a banshee in the spires shield.... I just did the laso solo and I died a couple of times but I found a way to start out from last checkpoint on solo. It's called save and quit right after you die before it reset. Then just start the game again and repeat if necessary.

I do not recommend doing this solo. Chances are you will die at some point during this level and you'll have to start all over again. But when you play coop and die it will go back to the last checkpoint
