me and my dad must of bought this album three or 4 times because we played it so much a great masterpice by the band cosmos the best albums even still have it today.
It's strange to think that such a short-lived band with so much tension and animosity behind the scenes could have produced such fantastic music. CCR <3
@thechewydude not really, tension and animosity elevate art to its highest level because of the strong passion involved. the fact that it's negative energy rather than positive energy is irrelevant to the fact that it IS strong passion. Roxy Music (original members), Velvet Underground (original members), Blind Faith (haha), Derek & the Dominoes (hehe), Cream (hoho), The Yardbirds, Jeff Beck Group (who?). Which shows how great the Rolling Stones are: keeping the tension going for 50 years.
i grew up with Creedence blasting through my 2nd oldest brother's 100watt stereo system as a kid and witnessed many a party with a 60 or 80 people jumpin up and down as one to this . it builds slow like some ceremonial dance and cuts loose at the end ....its just great
It's amazing enough how many well known hits Creedence released. They have a huge number of incredible lesser-known songs. Ramble Tamble being one of them!
How was this epic display of guitar god-hood not recognized as a hit on Cosmo's Factory?! I declare EPIC FAIL on the Billboard of 1971! This is amazing!
Haven't heard this awesome classic for so many years, it makes me rememberin' my childhood when my brother played CCR so often on this record player.... so great to hear it here again!!!! 5 stars for you with all the best wishes from germany!! KEEP ON ROCKIN' MAN!!!
38 years ago when I was on a ship in Viet Nam I used to BLAST this song on the mess decks while I was scrubbing pots in the galley. It is still just as fucking HOT as it was in 1971 and I hooked up my cheap-ass cassette player to the speaker system........and CRANKED it! YEAH! Probably one of the few cuts on Cosmo's Factory that was never recognized on a greatest hits piece or on AM or FM radio. A real shame! BUT I GOT IT a long time ago! ENJOY!!! C-R-E-E-D-E-N-C-E!!!!!!
@5dave1 no offense but i pictured you jammin the EEFFF out to this washing some dishes. soap flying every where...dishes smashing around...'twas pretty funny in my mind. Rock on my friend :D
Finest of their careers, yet never got the airplay and recognition it truly deserved. A diamond in the rough!

CCR - the bend with simplest but most effective lyrics. I keep getting surprised every time I listen to a song how spot on they are.
