There's something that touches me about the part where the cop does the 180 spin at 2:45. It's hard to explain. Something about the music at that point, also the bravery of the cop pulling such a maneuver and trying to enforce order in this weary world, and it also is the moment that signifies the tragic beginning of the end for these kids.
