  • i have lose 5 minuts of my life to watch this facking video...FACKYOOUUUU

  • Comment removed

  • i have a 05 gsxr 600 nd i can do power wheelies threw 3rd, figure out what rpm nd speed ur bike pulls the hardest once u find that stand up and pull up lol

  • go in first at 10.000 stop gaz and give gaz again an pull up :D

  • Its good to practice using power wheelies to get the feeling of the bike coming up.

Next you will want to start clutching it slightly to get used to it lunge up.

Once you get used to your bike you will know the RPM + Throttle + Slipping Clutch to get it up nicely and easily.

Keep your rear brake covered at all times.

  • taviluci is right Downshift83 helped me learn mine.. the best way is to learn is in 2nd gear because it wont come up fast on you if your doing power ups. if you bleep the clutch it is much easier but make sure you onlly use 1!! finger otherwise the bike snaps way to fast!

  • for 600cc is not easy to wheelie only with throttle.use the clutch. look to downshift83's wheelie tips.Great tips! search "wheelie tips" on youtube. ;)

  • first you have to know your bike and you need to push more some gass to do the weeelly don't afrraid of coming down think big you will be ok

  • heres how it goes on my gixxer 1k. 1st gear 4k rpms clutch it up, 5k rpms power wheelie. for a 600cc bike the rpms will need to be higher and 2nd gear will be higher still. try more throttle for a power wheelie, go in small increments though. moving far back on the seat helps. start covering back brake at first make it a habbit...

  • I do not like how you decelerate, you just hold in the clutch shift into first and brake the rest of the way. You need to learn how to harness the engine break properly and when you do it will help you break faster but it will make you a better rider as well.

  • were those on 1st gear?whats top speed you could reach on 1st?

  • Instead of just throttle you need to jerk up on it and give a little more throttle at the same time, preferably in a higher gear at higher speeds.

  • too low of gear and gif it sum throttle

  • Comment removed

  • try getting out of 1st gear trying to do power wheelies.. you will never get it up. (that's what she said). Try 2nd gear clutch ups around 6-8k rpm. You'll finally get it up. (thats what shes anticipating).

  • @GarretPearson hahahahaa veddy nice ja!

  • keep tryin youll get better

  • Step 1: Better cameraman

Step 2: Stop being a pussy

    Step 3: Get a 1000

  • @WTFp0s

Fokin idiot :DD go to a boxing school, mate! I'd like to see you pullin wheelies! :)

  • Sell your bike. You asked for suggestions

  • need more power in 1st, then pop the clutch.

  • i have a Derbi Senda 125 4 stroke (check my channel to see bike) i cant wheelie it, when i drop the clutch and give it revs it just goes foreword violently and i'm sitting back near the back wheelie !!! ???? i need help badly thanks all NICE VID !

  • you gotta get the rpms higher to start out. i always start in 2nd gear at about 9000. don't jerk the throttle. you have to roll into the power. and you have to keep a very steady and smooth wrist. you have alot farther to go backwards. just always watch the back brake. no need to clutch. it will come up without it. practice makes perfect. keep it up.

  • we all started somwere fuck the neg comments as the old saying goes practice makes perfect you enjoy your rideing

  • man u need to pop the clutch in about 2nd get it up and shift to 3rd right as u get it up, then keep practicing from there. also it would be a good idea to find a road without so many cars on it lol

  • wow, all these negative comments are stupid. Most of the people dont have bike and the ones that do, were all there somedays. This guy just had the balls to post it infront of you guys. That was 2 years ago aswell, hes probably a wheelie king by now!

  • looks like a good back road to do it on idk what ppl are talking about. just cause they see a few cars going by. get your rpms higher let her scream. then twist the throttle while pulling the bike up. remember cover that back break just in case

  • you suck ass!!

  • Suggestion: practice where there aren't any CARS.....genious

  • its like they say clutch it up or die tryin

  • I would say find a cameraman who can hold it steady for longer than 10 seconds.. Gave me a headache just watching this..

  • ur going to fast on the initial pull up let some air out the back tire go a bit slower and a few more revs let the clutch out as sharp as u can to get the wheel up

  • god bless his clutch and the people not running him over.

  • Once you get up there the bike pretty much levels itself out. Just don't put too much rev into the initiation.

  • change your gear ratio & chain... 520, -1/+2 is a common setup. It only takes a couple miles from top speed, and but adds a great amount of torque on the lowend. Any updates on your wheelies?

  • you dont have to pop clutch, just accelerate really hard in 1st gear and let the bike do all the work get comfortable with harsh acceleration. your doing good tho:)

  • get off of the street and go to a big parking lot.

  • look up videos on youtube of how to clutch up the bike. by hitting a juicy rpm range and dumping the clutch. it gives you more gear to work with, but it a little more dangerous and takes a little more practice. someone else was saying that this is how everyone else starts out, its true. i looked just like you on your bike 2 years ago now im doing 1/4 and 1/2 miles wheelies. practice makes improvent brotha. just take it one step at a time

  • Stop now...You're obviously afraid of your bike.

  • @BigJasonRR That was a douchebag comment, shutup. Its better to be afraid and learn slow then do dump your clutch at 9k the first time and break yourself and your bike.

  • DONT CRASH

  • hey bro just wanna let you know that this is how EVERONE starts. Nobody ever got on a sportbike and just started holding balance point. keep up the good work. Heres a little advice....1. find a lesser traveled road to practice on 2. make sure u have a friend with u incase of a fall 3. always use clutch 4. cover rear brake with big toe and not whole foot 5. take it slow 6. WEAR HELMET...godd luck dude

  • if u want to do a wheelie without being afraid ull flip over then slap the clutch, if u wanna do the same technique ur doing now, stand on ur back pegs and pull up while giving gas, a there a nice standing wheelie

  • is that fun poping the cluch or just power wheeling?

  • sorry, a lot of hate is gonna come to this comment, but remember, pulling on your bars does shit all! if your standing over your bike with your feet on the ground pulling the bars may have an effect but really your using your legs to kick off the ground not your arms to lift the bike, all you'll do is destabilise yourself. some people may find this helps but i assure you its psychological. if the front isn't coming up review how much power your using or your use of the clutch! safe ridding.

  • @Ironsteed636 Not sure how accurate that is. If your pulling on the bars with the front end already lighter due to acceleration, plus wind resistance all of a sudden the bike isnt so heavy? Also if you are compressing the suspension prior and pull on the bars with power surely that makes a difference? could be wrong. no idea :)

  • @chasingkiters that is a good point, i suppose if your talking about compressing the front suspension adding some BOUNCE into the mix, but in terms of realistic difference i'm not sure because really all the torque is going to come from the power (or quick release of the clutch if using clutch) wind resistance wouldn't factor into it too much i don't believe, but again i could be wrong. i'm no aerodynamics expert only speaking from experience. i do think its mostly psychological! safe riding :-)

  • if your just using your throttle, you need to be going quicker higher up the rev range, on my 636 i hover my speed around 30-35 mph for about 30 yards and snap the throttle open quickly, bring the front up and then you need to balance the power to sustain the wheelie, to little and the engine breaking brings you down hard, to much and your gonna have a soar ass for a while! don't push yourself past what feels comfortable better to learn slowly then not have a bike to learn on at all. have fun.

  • wer u poppin the clutch or just tryin 2 strate throttle it? i got a cbr600 and im still tryin 2 learn 2 wheelie

  • *Clack Clack* lol... I love the sound of gears shifting down.

  • Clutch it up and use the brake.

  • u gotta lean back more when u pull the bike up

    DONT BE SKEERD!! LOL

  • I'm not gonna inspire you.. It's pretty simple, but just remember, either you can ride a wheelie or you can't... Don't fuck up and lay the bike over and get hurt.. Just live with it if you can't do it.. Besides, the bike was meant for carving turns, why has everyone forgot about that??

  • you need to pull up on ya handle bar your weight is on the front find ya powerband which is 7thousand rpm and hit the clutch i weigh 230 i have to do the same unless i stand up.

  • pull up harder and little tiny bit more throttle

  • learn how to pop the clutch! its going to help you out alot since thats a lil 600

  • while trying power wheelies make sure u have the back brake covered so if it goes tits up just stamp the brake to bring u down.........remember enjoy and don't be to scared just treat the bike with respect........happy riding

  • love the bike .. try do it with less km .. or with a more accelaration check out my wheelies

  • on a 600 you will struggle a little bit if your just starting out, try double dumping the clutch so you get a double rev noise like vrr, vrr, slip the clutch twice simultaniously as it makes the front end dive a little then the rebound + clutch gets the front in the air.

  • take the rpm's up to 7000 then let of the throttle and then back on the throttle.. and it will come up.. there's not enough power at low rpm's.. try it and let me know if it helped... doing wheelies at low rpm's is not a smart thing to do, cause if it comes up, once it hits 7000 the bike is gonna land on your head...

  • You should try 2nd gear wheelies. Ride about 30 in second, with your first two fingers pull in the clutch just enough to slip the clutch and twist the throttle to about 9000 rpm and pop the clutch. 2nd gear wheelies are a bit smoother and to me less jerky. You have to get yourself over being afraid to flip it. Only then will you be able to ride a decent wheelie. If you want to ride a great one you need at least a 929, 954, or 1000. Whatever you do ride safe!

  • man don't ever do it on the road like that, cause you can badly fall and hurt yourself, find some better road without crack's and stuff...

  • Your not compressing your front suspension propperly, what you need to do is shove a load of weight on the front springs when you stand up, then move your weight back alittle while giving it a lump of throttle, the springs push you up as the power pulls you up

  • when u pop the clutch and get it up a little dont lean forward that much otherwise it just gonna drop straght back dwn. get your back into a neutral position and then try, but b careful to not go past the point of no return. these beginner wheelies r also gonna thrash ur fork seals and head bearing... but ur choice.

  • hmmmm im thinking about getting one when im 13 in a year then riding it around the backroads where i live for a year til im 14 then getting a license for it i figured itd be better for a year of experience with it before busting my ass in town

  • fuckin noob almost got hit lol @ 1:20

  • they say bebies right after birth you throw them in water they start swiming. Man you let them sit on the bike they go for the handle grips.

  • dont give up ur day job

  • checkout downshift 83 wheelie tips vidz 1 - 4

  • checkout Downshift 83 wheelie tips video 1 - 4

  • Stop stuntin' on public streets. You give us street bike riders a bad name...

  • i had the same problem trying to wheelie.....kinda freaky when it comes up....practice practice, now there easy for me!

  • grab the clutch dude 10 grnad at the very least

  • yeah, you can't even u-turn well and you're practicing wheelies... you have to be able to control your bike with the basics I'd say get more experience first and don't practice on such busy roads at your experience level.

  • Dont be scared to pull up as well man. Good job so far, i've got an 04 cbr600rr and I love doing power wheelies!

  • Try pulling up more. Not yank but give it something.

  • ride with a wheelie king, pay close attention to what he does.if you work the clutch right it will come up everytime!im not a wheelie king but on my way.practice makes perfect!

  • seat time!

  • yo bro try gettin ur bike up in rpm's a little more b4 you pop clutch.. try around 8or 9rpm but it could be a little diff on ur bike just try higher rpm first then pop..goodluck

  • suggestions? how about a better camera man

  • i think it may be the gigantic turn signals keeping your front wheel on the ground.

  • sit with your butt further to the back to the back and gain some rpm with the clutch before you pop it

  • first bike? u do have a clutch right?

  • go about 5mph, 6-7k rpm, drop the clutch and start believing in god!

  • to /LUNATICLANCE. ill take you on any time any day for wheelies and racing or kamikazi riding if you know what it means, race track or local and highway, just show me what you got? and stop talking bull shit the man is trying to learn so you dont want to brake his neck.

  • dont ask advice on here, these people havent got a fuckin clue.

heres some advice crawl before u walk. stop doin wheelies b4 u destroy

    your bike.

  • nice vid, i can see that you are scared hehe no worries i was scared 2 when i started doing wheelies the first time i droped my CBR 3 times and i pealed my left elbow skin pretty bad. Try this for start maybe it helps you do it quicker, keep you right foot on the rear brakes so that you dont flip the bike and try to max out on first gear when you feel the front wheel lifting of the ground,if you feel that its lifting higher just hold the rear brake gradualy till you max out the first gear,

  • when i first started ridin i thought 1rst gear was the way to practice but 1rst gear will will fuck u up, waaaay to touchy and sensitive, forget power wheelies! clutch it up u have way more control!!

  • You asked for suggestions. I suggest you not attempt wheelies on a public road where cars go. Also, concentrate on a 180 turn without putting your feet down. If you can't turn around on a road that size, that is what you should be practicing, not wheelies. Basic riding.

  • i dont understand why you think your ready to be popping wheelies when you cant do a u-turn.. practice some figure 8's in a parking lot.. clutch control mann... 2nd gear is my only advise.

  • gear the front sprocket down 1 tooth if you want more torque go 2 teeth down its only 22 for a front sprocket . thats why you dont change the rear save money

  • just clutch it up

  • lowering the psi will give u a wider gripe on your rear tire and will prevent the bike from moving to much when poping a wheelie......use the clutch and learn to slow it down and try to practice everyday...it took me 3 weeks to learn...

  • i remember learning too! its best stay in first. slowly roll on the gas untill about 7000 rpms let off for a second and then nail the gas. dont pin it but hit the gas like your do'n now. lower your rear tire pressure to 18 psi...it makes a big difference.AND KEEP THE REAR BRAKE COVERED AT ALL TIMES. good luck!

  • @moto9ll what does lowering the psi do?

  • more balls and u'll doing fine

  • go in 2 drive not to fast hold in youre clutch and if you lit it go gif gas

  • louder pipe people need to hear you dude two bros m5 or akrapovic

  • I can show you a pretty good power wheelie (given how short the parking lot I was in), it's on my main channel page if you guys wanna check it out.

On the CBR you can take it to 6k, close the throttle for a second and open it back up. It will come up fast but once you get comfortable you can ride power wheelies into 2nd gear

  • 2 things i highly recomend befoere trying to whellie, 1 get much more experience on the bike, know your bike better(be able to u turn not have to 3 point) and 2 is find a much quieter(emptier) road, or a good roomy parking lot

and check out some instructional vids of wheeling on youtube. what i got from teh vids but never tried is 1 a power wheelie, just pinning the throttle back to gut up a bit, 2 is get to about 11/3 of the revs, clutch in, 2-3 thousand up and the pop clutch, but research it

  • wait untill ur rpms are up high let off the throttle for a second and then pull back the throttle and try not to be to choppie with the throttle so u can wheelie farther also when u get beter try to find ur balncing point

  • easiest way to wheelie... only works on a cbr maybe r6 others are too weak. at about 30 mph push as hard as u can on your foot pegs like your tryin to jump off. the immediatly pull up and back on the clip ons. time i right and you can wheelie in first at 20mph and about 68 in second without clutching

  • My suggestion is...change de camera man...rsrsrs...kidding...use the clutch a lot...power wheelie won't kill you like he sad but is much more dangerous and much more difficult...the secret is practice until you get used to the feeling...once you feel comfortable with your bike popping up you'll get there...

  • OMG Power wheelies will get you killed . Clutch that thing up or stop trying fo-N ya hurt ya self ya heard QWMi5zY3Zd4 Mark 2:30 thats what ya want

  • tha 1 @ 3:00 is a good 1 put a lil more speed and n it not much it might have b-n perfect

  • good vid but IF ur scared to bring it up try letting som of the air out of ur back tire to get better balance...

  • @SonOfGolf how does that help dude?

  • You gotta practice your u-turns. That street should be easy for you to make a u-turn on without walking your bike

  • thats right, i recomend you to ride a lot and improve your balance, know your bike and everytime your ride do something, ask yourself why she do that...

  • @Gabe702Vegas also can mean life and death sometimes on the road.

  • The street was narrow, and I wasn't practicing U-turns I was practicing wheelies.

  • @david4707 He was just giving you constructive criticism MAN.

  • @david4707 I had a 99 srad gsxr 600. Let some air out of ur rear tire(more stability). Pop the clutch while going 5-10mph. As soon as that bike pops up Keep the throttle around 50%-60% so you could play with it. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP UR REAR BRAKE FOOT COVERED.

  • @david4707 lol gabe vegas def has a good point tho. pretty dam easy to turn around in a narrow street without having to push the bike around

  • @Gabe702Vegas Every time I try to u turn to the left, my left hip cramps up so badly that I can't get off the bike at the end of the ride. What causes that?

  • This year was my 1st wheelie intentionally. My friend has a CBR & he wheelies with the clutch easy. I can't get the hang of it. I can wheelie a little bit on the gas. I can do it at will. I just need to figure how to keep it going. You have a good start thus far. Hey why can't you turn the bike without 3 pointing it. It makes you look like a straight Newb.

  • lol damn cars.

  • And if you want to spend a few quid to make it easier (a lot easier

) to wheelie , Buy the biggest rear sproket (extra 5 or 6 teeth I think) and the smallest front one you can and fit them , you'll need a new chain too . Its easy to fit , quite cheap and works a fucking treat!

  • Fuck that ..baptism off fire, dont use the clutch ...go along in first gear at about six and a half thousand revs, grip the tank with your knees , shut the throttle off completely and the forks will compress then as they rebound open it up fully putting your weight toward the rear of the bike until the bike rises up, its a lot smoother and easier to control this way

  • you wanna do wheelies but you can't turn 180° , first get used to your bike

practice on a parking, try some clutch ups without jeans...

but use a parking! Less cops, less people, more space

    good luck

  • I agree. Get used to your bike and getting yourself out of sticky situations before you go getting yourself into them. However, if you search "MCN Wheelie" here on YouTube you'll find a step by step of how to wheelie off the clutch. It's a great video.

  • @nachtkriechen

    indeed that video is great.

But still to many bikers want to do a wheelie when they aren't ready for it,they crash and waste all that money. 1 bad crash and your bike is dead, respect your bike!

  • I agree 100%. But, "Only the strongest survive". If someone is too stupid to recognize the power Sport bikes have and don't respect it, they don't deserve the bike. Chances are, they're going to lose their bike & their life in the process. New rider's should have the MSF courses & AT LEAST 60 hours riding time on THEIR bike, before attempting ANY kind of stunts. If you die, NO ONE will care that you "went out in a blaze of glory". You'll just be another stain on the freeway.

  • I agree,your gear is your only protection,it won't stop a car from hitting you,60houres isn't enough I think,more like 1year.

you need to know what you're doing or 1day you'll hit the road,I only do wheelies when there aren't any onther trafic on the freeway because imagine that the car behind you can't stop and just ride over you,I've seen it before.you're lucky when you survive that. anyway, just take it easy with stunts because everyone could be your last one

  • True, true. I was just saying 60 hours as minimum. It's different for everyone. Me, I've been riding motorcycles in one form or another since I was 5. So, picking up Sport bikes wasn't too hard for me. It's just a different learning curve. But MAN do you have to respect that torque! I don't care if it's a 600 or a 1000, if you don't respect the torque, it will TEACH you to respect it!

  • Just respect your bike,some just don't deserve a bike,a bike is like a woman,threat them right,only a bike doesn't complain like a woman does lol

  • I had the same CBR, There is NO low down torque, Its much better to get a gsxr, put on an akrapovic and power commander and it will be better. 2nd gear, loads of revs and YANK the bike up - do it a few times and just let go of the power, then slowly do it with more and more power on,

  • do 2nd gear clutching it up. use ur body. bounce it it up.

  • Don't clutch it up! If you can't pop it up with power and keep it in the balance range then don't be doing wheelies!

It can be done! Ride your bike.....learn your bike......but for god sake don't be clutchin it up!

  • I would work on trying clutch ups at around 6-8000 rpm's. You might want to practice on a dirtbike if you can get ahold of one. But the best advice that I can give, DONT DO WHEELIES ON CROWDED STREETS!

  • How about you don't do any of that wheelie crap..

  • that jaggoff in the hatch back almost hit him....what a dick

  • 1st gear. get between 6k rpm and 8k rpm. keep the throttle steady, and quickly pull the clutch in and let it go (do this part quick!!)

should get you up a foot or so. just fiddle with how much throttle/clutch you give mixed with your RPM.. find a good rpm range for your bike.

  • Practicing in jeans is not a good idea ;)

  • Nice wheelies for a beginner. To make them higher and a bit longer try revving it up to about 8,000 RPM and then just pull back the clutch and let go and it will rise up with you and if you feel like you are going to fall back, just press the back brake. Hope that helps and put up a video with your results mate. Take care. =)

  • what rpm's are you poping at?

  • ill tell ya what i have the same excact bike... rev it up to about 8 or 9 grand use only your index finger on the clutch keep your other three fingers and thunb around the grip... you have to feel it on the gas.... as soon as you get the rpms up let the clutch go and pick up a little bit she will come up for you effortlessly...

  • pop the cluch these assholes dont no what there talking about your reving it enough

  • Look arse hole and watch the vid ..he shuts the rev once the wheel is off the ground.. we all can clutch but this guy is learning.

  • Practice Makes Better in your case. look at my video

  • your quitting on the revs..

  • practice on your U-turns

  • it takes time to achieve excellence

  • "Snapping" the throttle puts alot of extra strain on the pinions in the gearbox in 1st gear. shift ur weight back and wind it out in 1st. Mine pops everytime. In 2nd drop the clutch around 10000 rpm. alot more controll in 2nd. Dont be afraid to rev it.

Good luck, and keep the rubberside down

  • n first gear get to 4300 rpm then pull in your clutch and bump the rpm to 1100 that will get it up and you won't flip. cover that rear brake though the control of that rear brake is what allows us to control the bike at low rpm. second gear is the same thig except that when you pull in your clutch your rpm's go alot higher before youdrop your clutch. you will get close to max rpm's when you are using your second gear and higher.

  • wer es nicht drauf hat soll es lassen :-)

  • hey I have an 08 600rr and I weigh about 240. This bike has the power to pull it. Try 9 to 10,000 rpm and backing off for a split second and getting back into it. Be careful and feather the throttle to ride it, and ease off real slow to bring it back down. If you let off too fast it will hurt.

  • i'd actually recommend clutching it up. power wheelies will get you hurt.. maybe you should just stick to atvs...

  • after you get comfortable with that start using your clutch with it i call it slippin the clutch dont do this in first gear if your just startin out on this bike..... i prefer second thats how i do mine! good luck.... be safe.

  • Nice video man! What kind of camera are you using to shoot this? Quality is fantastic!

  • that bike need to eat, is not for practice

  • My suggestion is that you tie the front wheel to the bed of a buddy's pickup truck and have him pull you around. WHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • lean more on your backweel or choose a bick mithe the wheels closter to each other.

  • the cbr600rr is more of a racing bike than freestyle bike cause the motor is closer to the front to prevent wheelies but that means you just got to try harder than normal but the f4i is perfect for stunts

  • ur thinking of kawasaki dude not honda's

  • bullshit the 600rr is a great wheelie bike with a comfortable balance point, give it some time and you'll be hangin it soon

  • Just a small tip. Don't push forward when you slip your clutch. Just as the bike lifts of the ground, it looks like you bring your body forward like your trying to keep your body at the same level.

As you slip your clutch try pulling back on the handle bars. Don't rip at it like your in a strong man contest but just tug it & keep your arms straight untill you hit your balance point

    :)

Want any tips the just drop me a message :)

  • I have a CBR600 top rpm @ 14000.

should i do my wheelie at 1 gear and about 8000rpm? more , less? or should i have a diffrent gear? Thanks for any ansers! PS i have redesign my bike two a Steetfigther... DS

  • first gear can get a little sketchy cuz of the torque, try second gear around six thou, just practice and you'll get it. I got the same bike and at first i was like u, but now i hang it for miles. But you'll learn that fast wheelies can get sketchy cuz theres no stabilizer on ur bike (good investment if your gonna be doin that shit) slow wheelies are the way to go

  • Like Headycron said, it's better if you you can use 2nd gear to pop your bike up with to start with as you will probably find that you wont be reaching your balance point straight away. Your more than likely find that your wheelies will stick untill your revs run out & brings it's self back down. In first gear this happens a hell of allot faster than it does in second gear & I find it a bit easier to control the revs aswell in 2nd compared to 1st.

  • In first gear you dont need to clutch just get up to about 25 or 30 then let off and get back on it really fast and it will come right up all you got to do is get a feel for where the blance point is then when u get that down start clutchin up in second from about 8000- high as it will go and it will go right to the balance point its all about gettin the feel for the bike .good luck man.

  • get in to 9-1000rpm full throttle, leave the throttle, give back, you will do a wheelie 100% :)

or get like 6000-7000rpm and pop the clutch. i got the same bike, no problem in 1st and 2nd gear.

if you want to wheelie easy change your sprocket, you will speed.

  • i meant 9-10.000rpm

  • ok so i have same bike . first gear wheelie is what im learning. get it up to about 4 to 5 thousand rpms then pull in the clutch rev to about twelve. it will come up and you dont have to lean back. just get the feeling of the bike in the air, after that you can lean back

  • does somebody smell that first gear ....disappearing..lol...bet the temp is like 250 now ...2nd gear 40 46 slip the clutch lean back hold on ..don't die..

  • lol i have the same bike and i wheelie just like that.

  • if u use 1st gear first just go at about 30mph roll of the power then flick the throttle it will come up thats how i started on my yam R6 , get the feel and idea of front wheel in the air then after u have mastered that go on to slipping the clutch in 2nd gear mate !!!

  • Just keep working at it. What you are doing is the tough way to do a wheelie, but its a good way to learn how the bike feels coming up. If you want to get it up without the clutch, dont be afraid to use those RPM's! Eventually start experimenting with the clutch, you will find that much easier to get the bike up, and by that time you will know what it feels like when the bike is coming up.
