B747 is the best aircraft for me! Im always ona B747 when flying for Manila from Tokyo Narita. Via Japan Airlines (JL741).

I dont think that Airbus A380 would take home the crown, lol. B747 is around till 70's right? (if im not mistaken)

Airbus A380 is just a new aircraft in our planet and not that much popular with the people from different countries.

Concurrence. SCREW the A380. It's only about 30 years LATE!!! That 747 still reigns as QUEEN in my opinion. Those French assholes seem to act like the Russians during the Cold War. If they can't out do it, they just build bigger or MORE. I don't think that A380 will EVER reach the milestone the 747 has. Time will tell.

Among the ones I've flown, the 747-400 is my all time favorite. The B777 comes close. I just feel safer with the 747 especially since it has 4 engines and I find flying in it very comfortable. The A340 and A330 are also ok but I've been having second thoughts about it lately especially with the string of accidents that Airbus has been experiencing. I also find the A380 too big and overhyped. The B747-400 is big but sexy :-)

Biggest dream of flying PAL is flying onboard the PAL774 on a domestic destination, make it DVO or CEB. thats my wish. Somehow I get so unlucky by flying on 320 or 319 only. Hmmmm..

The questions is, how often does the 744 fly to CEB ? And is the 744 only deployed on domestic flights during the summer schedules ?

I love the present Eurowhite scheme of PAL747-400 and I do hope that PAL maintains its current livery and design. It is very simple (divinely clean) but very awesome! Nowadays, other airliners (such British Airways and Pokemon JAL, etc.) have very, very poor taste when it comes to livery design...making the awesome B747-400 look like oversized-toys! Yuck!!!

The PAL body is so plain (Fully White and Black Letters Print).I think it would be nice if they adding more colors in the body like blue,yellow,white and red.Then, the color in the tail would be full blue background with the Philippine Eagle image that look like is flying as well.

I also wish we have PAL B747-400 everywhere

(not only in the Philippines but around the globe). Unfortunately, there are only five of them (being "juggled" around Narita, LA and San Francisco routed). So, I was really surprised how this mighty white jumbo ended up in Cebu...this was really a very lucky break for the videographer.
