You two are clearly not musicians. Anybody who has ever picked up an instrument knows just how hard it is to play a Who song well, while a Zeppelin riff is easily learned by every seven year old guitarist world wide. Not to say that seven year olds can't be good I've met some who are amazing.
I will never forget the biggest blunder of all time, in that this concert was a secret gig, and i was going to see a movie called "white Rock" which was officially showing for one day at the "Gaumont State" in Kilburn.. I never bothered, and later found out that my beloved WHO played a gig there!!! I was Sick!!!! Though i did see them at Charlton 76, with Keith thank god!!!
ok so i just realised that keith moon has different clothes on inn this version but in the kids are alright its a completly different outfit. but its the same show. ???
Hey people, it's been confirmed on their official website that it's also going to be released on DVD (the Coliseum show, too), for those of you who are concerned.
Why are they being so vague about the second disc with"70 minutes of bonus tracks"if it's just an audio recording tell us.Deceit really pisses me off.
I've already got it pre-ordered! It's a must have with the lack of Moon Era live footage. At least for what has been released on DVD, aside from odds and ends on The Kids are Alright and The Isle of Wight which is heavily edited.
guys, this concert is better than shepperton, trust me, but you can probably say shepperton is better lit and edited. however this performance is nothing to sneeze at, and certainly not a "trainwreck". and yes, its coming out on blu-ray and dvd nov. 18th
appearently, jeff stien wasn't too satisfied (as,so i've heard were some members of the who) with the FEEL of the show. i think,if i'm mistaken please correct, this is where the "f$%&ing little git" bit in "kids" comes from, correct?
the part where roger is singing see me feel me and the coliseum gives me chills no matter how many times i watch it. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS TO COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
am I nuts or wasn't kilburn before shepperton? And if so, why do they keep saying Keith's last show. It wasn't. In fact, the reason they had to do shepperton was because neither the band or director were pleased with kilburn.
this gig is gonna be big. but until it comes out, if anybody has any requests from this show, i have the entire show in good quality (better than ive posted before) ready to post
its better than shepperton and i prefer a performance that might have a few warts in it, that is true rock. at least keith isnt all coked up at kilburn
To be honest I'm looking forward to the Coliseum show the most. I've seen Young man Blues and Happy Jack from that show and they are absolutely stunning.
