  • "army strong hut!" lol

  • Those guys at the rear are the profiles. Aka: sick, lame

  • I retire 20 years ago from the US Army and I'm quite sure that Route Step is still used. When in route step you are in formation but not required to be in step.

  • why in the fuck is a female di instructing male recruits....

  • @giggidy87 cause the 70's were over 40 years ago? lol

  • @chatanwarrior what do the 70's have todo with what i said? i relize now that the real soliders in the Army have all male platoons in basic while non combat softies have intergrated.

  • So, what uniform do you wear? Or do you just film and criticize. As a Soldier in the Army, I can assure you that we still train hard, but we call cadence when we march from point a to point b when we are not in a tactical formation. It's a morale thing and it actually takes dicipline to stay in step and call a cadance. Not to mention its history that traces back to Washington and the Militia. Oh, I got a pen and some numbers if you want to enlist in the Army or Marines an step up to the plate.

  • Not to sound like a motard, but NONE of you stay in step. This video proves it. Your columns are non-existent. Don't try and say it takes discipline to stay in step, you know nothing of the sort when it comes to drill.

I don't need your pen and numbers.

  • So again pose the question, what sevice are you in? None of us are in step? I can't really tell, because your camera or the upload came out bad. Anyway, if we are out of step, there may be a reason. Look up the term "Route step"...

  • This RD929 dude is like one of those fags that would go shoot up a recruiting office. I think its about time to off him, anyone else agree?

  • you know i was thinking pretty much the exact same thing. he apparently spends more time stalking the army than he does anything else.

  • dude, shut the fuck up, where the hell are you?

u wanna hide an record the military an talk shit about them?

y don u get up in 1 of their faces?

  • Interestingly enough, I was actually in that formation.

We all stumbled upon this video eventually and got a decent kick out of it. Right before we finished we were staying on the floor above the marine that took this video.

No offense taken. It's all in good fun.

But seriously... what's with the porn parties you all had going in the day room?

  • Glad you did. Porn parties? hahah when were you at the fort?

  • I was there from November 06 until about May 07.

One day at about 3 PM there was a bunch of Marines in the first floor day room watching porn. It was in April or May we walked in on this.

  • hahahaha yea you were there at the right time. They were probably all drunk and they never really cared anyways. They do what they want for the most part at that place, if you couldn't tell

  • Well it HAD to be pretty cool for you to record it huh?

Piss of dude, trying to act as if your above the Military.

  • @RD929 haha that was funny

  • All four branches call cadence. USMC has marching cadences & running cadences just like the Army [though the context is different]. Quite frankly, calling cadence is a lot more interesting then just "left, right, left."

  • we all do have marching cadence but the way we (Marines) sing our marching cadence sounds so fucking sexy, we are the prettiest drillers and the best, Hoora (no disrespect). My wife is Army

  • Yea, USMC Cadences are sexy.

  • This is called 'Marching'...

  • it is? Some pretty unorganized marching. Usually the marching I see on TV or in parades is quite synchronized and people aren't singing stupid songs to try and keep in step and look cool

  • the marching you see on tv? uh huh, you havent been around fort huachuca/the military long have you? lol

  • so why does the Air Force and Marines look way better when marching, and neither seem to sing songs while doing so? They seem to use actual protocol when marching, not just walking...

  • youve never heard of 'Cadence'? or 'inspirational/motivational runs'? in the service you see/do this all the time, I'm not too sure about the Navy, but the Army, Air Force, and Marines all do these sort of things, just look up 'Marine Cadence' on youtube

  • Cadence is used while running from the other branches, never marching.

  • Marine Marching Cadence

    watch?v=8NODdFRPP-Y

  • Your link didn't work so I searched "Marine Marching Cadence" and there was no video of Marines marching to cadence, just running, as I said earlier.

  • RD929 .. you my friend are officially a moron. I served in the USAF . We always ...ALWAYS . . marched to cadence with the exception of parade and ceremonies .

  • Yes but the Air Force doesn't SING and SCREAM their cadence. One of your little ropes will the cadence, while your black rope handles the guidon. Correct me now? Because that's how it is. I said the USMC and the USAF do not sing songs while marching, we use cadence. Like someone said earlier, the word "cadence" is being used a little differently.

  • the video "Marine grunt's life in afghanistan" depicts a marine combat patrol singing the "They say in the Marine Corps (insert line here)- is mighty fine" cadence. Ridiculoso!

  • But the Army is the only branch now that just blatantly screams out songs while marching, while individual soldiers will just yell out whatever they please like "YEEEEEAA" from Lil Jon and it seems to be accepted.

  • funny story about the marines who had astop over in flagstaff on their way to southern Cal. We cabledawgs were doing an installation up there and the marines were our cooks. they tried to use the alloted supplies the army sent to feed us cold cuts while they ate the hot stuff. Strange how every last phone stopped working until we got our hot food. Don't bite the hand that hooks up your communications :)

  • I was in 69th Sig. Co. "The Zoo", for any oldschool who remember that nickname...

  • LOl, damn look at all the profiles on the back!!! lol

  • Those people can be 33Ws or 96Bs going to school. I know where exactly it is cause I was there. And I had so many friends who were walking behind the formation, not because they are pansies but because they were hurt after completing GAFPB. If you don't know what GAFPB is, well I'm sorry. If you think you can complete GAFPB with gold badge, then make fun of those people walking slow. You don't know why they are hurting to begin with. So let's not make fun of them.

  • Cool! I was at Ft. Huachuca too! I was a 96B, but back then we didnt wear berets! :(

I loved this video, it took me back! I was on profile for a like a month, then it was marching and cadence for me!

  • Err, WTF? Why is the UNITED STATES Army testing for the German Armed Forces Badge? Are we training to be Nazis, now? (The digital camo already had me thinking that.)

  • OK, RD929, if you are a Marine at Ft. Huachuca, that means you are not a typical hardcore Marine anyways, just like soldiers at Ft. Huachuca are not infantry.

  • What type of Marines go to Ft Huachuca?

  • if you are a marine and if you could film the army intel marching to school, you should know.

  • it is pretty pathetic how many of these New Soldiers are so damn weak, that is why I am getting out in 4 year 4 months...the ARMY is to soft for me now...

  • Cav Scouts are first in and last out..always. Look it up and you will see. Every branch has scouts, like it or not,its the truth...Scouts Out

  • We are all Americans fighting for Old Glory.......the bad guy blows himself up and fights cowardly...we should be fighting that sorry excuse for a piece of shit instead of cracking on each other and the services. May God Bless all the services.

  • HAHAHAHA nice dude

    that's hilarious

I'm glad you found it funny and didn't just get all butthurt over it

What do you think about your marching and cadence you guys do?

YOU LOVE OUR GREEN LEOTARDS AND YOU KNOW IT.

We're getting a new design though, gonna be more like yours and the Air Forces, and it's probably gonna be a horrible design and stupid colors too

  • Wow... I actually think this is funny for a couple reasons, number one, I am in this company at Fort Huachuca haha, and secondly, the Marines at Fort Huachuca remind me of PE in high school, wearing their long green leotards doing PT right before noon haha. anyways, I enjoyed it =)

  • We are the first actual force in...

The ones we don't really know about...not like those kinds of people exist or anything because the idea of that is absurd... are a small number

and some of them...are Marines as well.

But agreed. And disagreed at the same time haha

  • I going to go ahead and say that Marines arent necessarily the first ones in.. They are the first ones that we hear about..

    De Opresso Liber

  • Don't even get me started butter bar on who are the first ones in.

  • I'm not a butterbar there, Big Doggy Grunt.

  • iii you're an idiot. Marines are the first to fight simple as that. The army has a lot of people that's the only reason they can sustain a fight but for the most part they give up and surrender because they can't fix a double feed in their m-16's. oh yeah and who was it who save jessica lynch? oh right Marines, yeah and when was there a report anywhere that a Marine was caught or held captive in combat since this war started? how many army personnel? a lot.

  • iiiaan101 might be my friend posting sarcastically...

    not sure though...

  • Like changing your advertising slogan is going to get more people to join too? Stupid little ads like that make the Army look worse.

  • And don't tell me to start a fight with a soldier and see what happens. Just because he's a soldier, DEFINITELY does not mean he can beat everyone up. Same goes for Marines too. Just because someone is a Marine doesn't mean they can take on 20 people with a toothpick.Army Strong, they went from "Be All You Can Be in the Army", to "Army of One", to "Army Strong"

"climbing a mountain is strong, landing on one is ARMY STRONG"

  • It's a joke, take it with a grain of salt. Jeez, seriously, get all butt hurt over this.

I'm glad JSYoung found it funny too. It's just showing how much the Army has dropped their standards in the past few years.

  • I found it rather amusing.... Semper Fi SGT Young....HHOOOOOOOAAAHHHH HA HA HA HA

  • did he seriously pan to all of the people on a profile walking behind the formation because their injured and then say "army strong" what a dickhead.

  • hello dumbass perhaps you aren't aware that random road ruck marches aren't supposed to be "stealthy" now you know the end

  • smh cornball making fun of soldiers dying to keep his land free. like i said start a fight with a soldier and see what the outcome is clown.

  • yeah i that soldier would get whooped by a marine.

  • O....K Hey there marine you might want to learn how to spell.... are you just a basic marine? I'm a US army Ranger, i bet your some dumb ass private, Respect all your brothers in Arms fore' he might save your ass out there in the sandbox....besides the head commander our there in the middle east is a ARMY General.

  • Every body is an army ranger! Just because you cooked for the Army Rangers does not make you one! That explains why everything is fvcked up! Westmoreland, Veitnam? see the paralles? Somalia? Army general.

  • army strong, hooah :-P

  • omg love this

  • HAHA thats hilarious
