  • I felt the end of the when she was singing a capella. I hate when people are so critical as to say that someone such as Angela Brown has poor technique. Since your technique is so wonderful why don't you all post vids of you performing in Paris's Opera House... I've met and seen her on several occasions and he technique and overall performance capability is phenomenal. Let's just enjoy her because i doubt that anyone here has room to b critical of her... (just saying)

  • For this video, I DO hear a bit of the so-called "wobble" here. Having seen Angela Brown several times and seeing several of her videos, I don't normally hear that from her.

  • Really a terrible wobble above all at the beginning. However great voice.

  • I don't hear a severe wobble...her voice is beautiful, but her voice does not really move me. Her high note was great. Reminds one of Leontyne Price??? Give me a break.

  • uh. i don't hear a wobble. the instrument sounds pretty supported to me. and she's on the stage of the paris opera so she must be doing something right.

  • Most of this is within the normal 5-7 pulses/sec vibrato rate. When it is not it's usually a problem of breath-flow. When the vibrato slows it is good to remember that she is singing bent over on the floor, shortening the distance between sternum and pelvis and compressing the viscera up into the diaphragm thus increasing the pressure of the exiting air. Now the vocal folds must use more force to close once/cycle slowing the vibrato rate. Also, a wobble isn't pitchless...needs at least two. ;-)

  • ke brutta regia... lei brava, molto intensa!

  • Terrible wobble, wonderful wonderful voice

  • Love it! i liked the way she sang the High note! It was as if it bounced right into her head!

  • This is yet another tremendous artistic talent and voice totally shackled by bad vocal technique.

  • so gr8 ..... reminds me a bit of Leontyne Price - that large voice with a metallic dramatic colour ...... I want one ..... :-)

  • wonderful!

  • PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Absolutly unbelieveable!!!!! A work of art!!!! I love it!!!

  • Very lovely!

  • She's extremely incredible!!!! Her acting and conviction is just awesome!!! I dont hear much of a wobble, but a little bit. Its not like its a Callas wobble.

  • Gorgeous tone and this threatening aria seems a piece of cake for her. But I have to agree with many posts here : what a terrible wobbling ! Is she singing for 36 theaters at the same time or what ?

  • sounds good

  • i swear people are deaf! Her voice is spinning fine!

  • @2muzikiluv Their ears are not tuned to pick up fine sound.

  • I like her voice but Im sorry to desagree here. She doesn´t sound well. Her vibrato disrupt wo much the sound it really sound terrible here. Sorry girl, but do something about it... you have a fabulous voice.

  • Oh my... Her horrible vibrato disfigures everything. She's not singing, she's ululating. Really people, wash your ears or have a brain transplant.

  • EXACTLY!!!! its completely lacking in pitch.

  • this is the angela brown we know and love. an ASTONISHING DRAMA SOPRANO. BRAVA BRAVA BRAVA.

    vorrei vedarla molto di pui!!

  • Excellant angie......we still love you .....Chris Smith

  • Alright Angela!

  • Great voice!! And great performance! Thank you for post it ;-)

  • Such a plush, velvety sound! Easy top and resonant low notes. Beautiful singing. Thanks for posting!
