  • Always better to have one good knife then five cheap ones !!!

  • The F1 does all You want from a mid-size knife and with the 3G steel, can't wish more...

Well the Cold Steel is a copy and the SOG NW ranger is in the same range as the Fällkniven A1 but I don't like the blade. The other three ?!?

Many American blades are to wide,it limits the use !

  • I would like to see some type of a carving comparison. Without taking the time involved, but the difficulty level of doing the ruff carving of a spoon. Also maybe a pry test. Nail two 2x4s together with a 8d or three and drive the test knife between the two and see which works better to get them apart. Nothing that would break the knife but a test of the blade design/ strength and the handle design and ease of working the knife hard. Great to see you expanding your test process! ESEE-4?? :)

  • hey Adam, I dont know if anyone mentioned this but you could put a carving section into the testing. Hope this helped. Looking forward the the upcoming videos on the testing of the knives.

    Ben

  • what ever happened to buck knives like the special or any of the fixed blades you can buy at a department store? i think that it would be interesting to see how they stack up too.. Maybe they should be included in this test too?

  • @boomer00000 keep watching the E2E channel, we have reviews comming on some old classics like the ones you've mentioned.

  • Very nice choices of blades, can wait for the follow up vids! Thanks

  • You can get the Falkniven F1 for $97.21 at Katerno dot com

  • @billyshob It's back-ordered but the SKU is 175508.

  • I respectfully request that when you field test the Seal pup, you wear tigerstripe camo face paint.. for posterity!

hehe Looking forward to the follow up!

  • dude how much gear u got?

  • Adam: Would suggest that a piercing test, tip test and prying test. Also it would be interesting to get a subjective point of view from you and perhaps two other people you respect on the comfort level of these knives with respect to the handle, weight and carry. Perhaps they should score them to see how they come up.

  • he should call the custom "little boy" and that would make the real BK2 "fat man". LOL

  • I so wish I qualified for the Fishwolf give away. Oh well.

  • eager to see your impressions on the master hunter and the F1. i have the master hunter my self. used it all last year for hunting. but now i just can't seem to get it sharp. any ideas?

  • my cold steel spartan is almost the exact same size as the cold steel master hunter...its a folder!! anyway, great video, very informative.

  • I hope you like the N.W. Ranger. I use mine in the woods, at work, even in the kitchen.

  • Adam you've got a pretty good mix of blades there. Really eager to see how they perform, especially the more popular ones. What I would like to see is the performance vs weight of each blade and also how good they are in lighting up those fire steels.

  • Side note- I forgot to tell Adam I have another website as well. fishwolfknives.webs.com You can also find me on facebook. Fishwolf Custom Knives. Thanks all!

  • i would like to see some finer wood carving and see how they preform.

  • I really like the SOG seal pup elite.

it batons well for such a light knife and i have not done a ton of batoning but so far the coating has stood up very well

  • THE SERIES THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! I am looking forward to the fishwolf and Master hunter...

  • Thanks Adam! Cant wait to see how my little user knife does!

  • Very cool, this is the knife size category I'm really interested in. I used to have an Ontario USAF survival knife, couldn't really stand the thing the edge and the spine would eat my baton up and I loosened up the handle quite a bit through batoning but I had the stacked leather handle, interested to see how this one will preform. Can't wait to see how the F1 and Master Hunter preform, both top contenders for my next purchase. Just curious is are those convexed edges?

    -Spencer

  • Be curious to see what you think about the pup - I can't stand mine.

  • skin something... maybe a cute bunny...

  • I would like to see a carry test.

    How does the sheath lay?

How comfortable is the knife and sheath?

Is the knife easy to remove from sheath?

  • cool cant wait
