That's not the London Tonight Studio. They're in the studio up on the 10th floor of the tower ('Studio 10') which was used for LWT News, 6 o Clock Live, Business Daily etc.
LT came from a new studio down on the 3rd floor, you can tell the difference by the view from the window. Studio 10 stopped being used a few years after LT started and is now no more.
The only bit of LT I remember from The Day Today was the travel reports
Ian St John in the same studio used for the just-launched (at this point) London Today/Tonight, which were such a heavy (if not acknowledged in the rest of the UK) inspiration for The Day Today.
