And no where in the Bible God cusses or swears, even less calls others "Satan Worshipers", but He indeed is love like it says here in 1 John 4:8, so that means He loves everyone, no one excluded. The first time I heard this song I bawled my eyes out, not because of how sad it is, but because of how much like me the man in the song is. I'm dying of something, although nobody can figure out what it is, it's certain that I am dying. My father was almost never around when I was a child, I've drank and smoked for years, and I had a daughter out of wedlock, who later died which caused me to attempt suicide. But through all of this, God has granted me serenity, and I know I will be with him.

As a matter of fact, many things individual Christians come to believe have no biblical basis. As a matter of fact, many things individual Christians come to believe have no biblical basis. Yes, our teachings on right and wrong aren't always the same as everyone else's, (that much is obvious) but we're not supposed to have prejudice against everyone. We just have a bad habit of confusing "disagreeing with someone" and "hating someone."

And i dont see this song as sad. sure some parts are. but its happy..he finds is home in heaven. a true love that he hadn't ever found in life.
I think its a beautiful song about redemption...and no matter what we do Jesus will accept us as we are.

I love this song because it's saying, you'll always have someone to turn to, someone who has always been there, and has loved you all of your life. He was just waiting for you to accept him into your heart.

Its a metaphor. We , the sinners are the wolves. He died for our sins, all of us, all of our sins. We love him. Yet those who haven't quite found their faith dont often realize what they're doing is wrong. when you do realize it, it comes crashing down on you " What have i done?"

@TheLexas3451 ok, i realize two other people already replied to this, but the first explanation was hazy at best, and the second was not as thorough as i would like. we are the wolves in this metaphor, and we have just given into our temptation (hunger) by killing a lamb, but we loved the lamb and in the end regret our actions and ask forgiveness (just like the person in this song).

I love this song. It's probably one of my favorites by RK. And waykewldaddy , smoking can give you lung cancer. Many people that have smoked get it. I met a man that had a stoma because of smoking. He could barely talk and had to use a microphone.
