I don't think Noel will come back, solo or not. He said in a recent interview that these days he has to think, "What can I write about now?" He kept it going for the fans, not for himself. He said that, too, in a recent interview: "We make it work for the sake of the fans." But if you read his farewell blog post, it sounds awfully like he's saying goodbye to the fans for good.

kramdraw i salute you a REAL Oasis fan, when them boys were in the band Oasis were at there best, on stage now watching them isnt a big deal at all.I became a fan in 1994 when i was 10, i first saw them live was with the new line up at Lansdowne road saw them 3 times since.Never saw Bone,Guigs or Whitey you cant beat early Oasis.Gem and Andy never did it for me one bit man they just arent Oasis types at all, they put the zzzzz on the band.
