Tractor looks identical to my grandfather's tractor. I rode on it a time or two working his fields with him. Nothing I wouldn't give to get back any one day of it. Thanks for posting this.
@TDubya5 I dont know I'll check if its still there. Im sure the hitch is off of a 130 or 140. I don't think IH ever put a fast hitch on a Farmall A or Super A . I know a guy who worked at Raleigh Truck and tractor and he said he never saw one . I know it can be done the parts are interchangeable .
@farmall51The parts are interchangeable, but the floorboard for every Super A I have seen doesn't have the screw holes that hold a bracket unique to the 1-point hitch. I'd like to know what the Super A's with the water pump look like so I know how to retrofit my Super A.
@TDubya5 I did check today and it dose not have the water pump . It still has the peculation system. Ive retrofitted a 140 engine to have a super c water pump. not hard at all to do . the only thing about putting a water pump on a tractor that has the peculation system is the radiator I dont think can take the pressure . you will find a leak right quick.
@farmall51 i heard that when IH first started building the super A-1 before the 100 they were building the fast hitch an designing it but you cant find many super A-1s let alone one whit the early styled 1 point fast hitch

That's the first Super A I've seen with a fast hitch. Does it have a water pump?
