  • the wing is just so big and flat...awesome :D

  • i hope once to fly with it, shamfully the klm is not buying it =-[

  • amazing how quiet the engines are

  • Flaps retraction is very noisy!

  • Nice steady video, well done. At the point of take-off, the previously drooping outer portion of the wing flexes upwards and this is an amazing sight. Quite noisy flap retraction though...

  • how much is the ticket to ride that MONSTER??

  • @ImperialiZMO You just get lucky, my uncle got to go on it :)

  • thank you Ahmed, beautiful magnificent machine

  • that's wings is so BIG!!! i can live with my house on that!

  • Beautiful aircraft. but I've been around Boeing all my life so I prefer them.

  • Beutifull plane!

  • Slow Lift!

  • u picked the worst sit =[

  • the engines are very quiet

  • omg thos wings are huge............

  • this plane is so huge...

  • wow nice video, i love it...it most be very nice to fly on this beast..

  • my god ! this wing is VERY BIG !

  • Beautiful and awe-inspiring.

  • That's hella quieter than 737's

  • that's a huge wing!

  • lol my golf teacher says these things are really loud. Obviously he's wrong.

  • you got to be kidding me, i couldnt hear the sound of the engines LOL, EUROPEAN TECHNOLOGY FTW!

  • Yeah, the plane itself is quiet; it's just all the people who won't shut the hell up!!!!!

  • its so quiet

  • MONSTER!!!!!

  • Φανταστικό αεροσκάφος όντως...τι θαύμα

  • Die Tragfläche ist der Hammer!

  • I'm pretty sure the flaps are louder than the takeoff roll!!!

  • In german: Der Flügel biegt sich immer weiter nach oben....:D

  • good video

  • whats the price to fly in A380? O.0

  • @KikYouOnYourAss It depends on the airline.

  • I love the sound of the flaps when it is going out or in.

  • Nice wing view.

  • wow, look at the size of that wing..i just love the "music" of those flaps retracting..the engines are pretty quiet,so makes the take-off less scary..

  • classy vid

  • this is the worst spot u can get on an A380. U get no view but a bigfatass wing...

  • When I booked my Emirates A380 flight with a window seat, I specifically asked NOT to be seated next to the wing (for obvious reasons)

  • why is there is beep sound after takeoff for a while

  • ur sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky

i love airplanes and i know alot about them and my favorite one is the A380

    and the antonov 225

  • GIANT WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:45 look at the vibration on the front edge of the wing!

  • god that wing is huge. let's not speak about the flaps, they're gigantic... sometimes i ask myself how the hack that wale is flying being so damn heavy and so damn big.

  • @thelowryder and thats what they said in the 60s when the 747 was released! I would prefer boeing, but these planes a beautiful. If Rolls Royce can fix 'them' engines, then the plane will be even better(rer)

  • LOL small wing! haha. I wonder what that wing cost to manufacture lol,

  • wonderful take off!!

  • Impressively quiet for such a large plane!

  • Damn those engines must pump some power...

  • they say how quiet this plane is yea right these are the loudest flaps ive ever heard

  • fingerspies is retardet guys.

  • it feels like when you are in the air! it looks like the engines shutoff!

  • Very impressive!

  • It's a shame you did'nt put the graphics and the frame emulation rate up to the maximum settings because flight sim x can look a lot better than this... As for an A380 who the hell mentioned one of those??

  • @fingerspies hahahahahahah LOOOOL.. man u facking crazy.. hahah!!!!! yoy fucking idiot

  • Do you think that bad weather conditions or turbulance could affect such a huge plane?

  • An awesome aircraft with expected service life of 50 years - HOLY SHIT !!

  • Nice video was this filmed on Flight sim 2003 or Flight sim X?? cause this is certainly not a real film of a cessna plane... Think you've been eating too many frog's teeth!!

  • @fingerspies what the hell are you talking about. This ain't no FSX

  • @fingerspies how the f**k is an a380 a cessna???

  • @fingerspies fuck you

  • @fingerspies what the hell you talking about..that is real man..that is really A380-800..did you blind??..

  • @fingerspies shut the fuck up

  • Very quitet ride, but Airbusses tend to hold some strange noises when the clean up wings...Like the BAe 146 that always had the same trouble inside and out when flaps were pulled in...

  • they are really loud indeed, but the take off is so quiet 5stars

  • thats one big wing!

  • I like how the faster the plane goes the wings flexes upwards :D

    MORE LIFT MAN!!

  • Wow its really quite!

  • I pity this Ahmed Shaheed. Paid so much to fly on the 380, and only got the wing view. LOL.

Good video. Watched till the end. LOL.

  • This aircraft is a masterpiece. Soon it will have RR Trent XWB engines (90,000 Ib thrust, present thrust from Trent 900's 70,000) and in stretch version 800-900 px.

Two flights per day between hub airports. It will be the ONLY viable aircraft with rising fuel prices. Excellent aircraft.

  • @viceroytennis

    yep boom

  • @viceroytennis i thought there were gonna get GP7200 i'm pretty shure its GP7200

  • the wings are so big its unbelievable :O, and they are so quiet on take off, i saw one take off in car park right against runway at heathrow :D

  • @shrimpo13 cool they can take off in a car park, thats handy

  • the wing is soooooooooooo big ;O

  • yah

    very big!

  • whutt whuzz the flight number i think i whuzz on this flight plz respondd

  • Excellent video of something that I may never get to fly in, bravo Ahmed and Jojoairbus !!

  • Pure Silence

  • going on one soon

  • wow! :)

  • What the hell are you on about

  • What do you expect when you're sat right near the wings and flaps, ANY aircraft you go on you can here the flaps and alot of the time landing gear also. The reason you can hear the flaps more than usual is because the engines are so quiet if u went on a 747 and sat in a similar position the flap motors will be drowned out by the rumble of the old spinners

  • I like boeing more then airbus but u really cant do anything about the noise of the hydraulics. I was surprise the take off was really quiet.

  • one time at heathrow, in carpark next to runway, i watched one take off and they are so quiet compared to 747, i just wish i will get to fly on one some day

  • AWSOME!

  • @runwayoneseven You forgot to say ”Very"

  • @runwayoneseven Your spelling isn't.

  • they say the plane is quiet thats the loudest flap noise i ever heard

  • Oh, yeah. I noticed that all newer planes generally have louder flaps than the old ones. I wonder what's the reason for this.

  • It' s simple, the A380 is so quiet that you can actually hear the flap actuators. On older aircraft, the engine noise covers this similarily loud noise.

  • Also there is one more thing. The A380's hydraulics work on a higher 5000psi, rather than the usual 3000psi. That result in smaller actuators that turn faster to deliver the same work, but improve the fuel efficiency of the airplane because they are alot lighter. A bit more noise, 100% gain for the environment and the airline.

  • Totally true.

Before the A380 I was woke up every morning at 7:00 by the 747 which makes New York-Paris.

Now that it's replaced by an A380, I've never been woked up this early the morning. (I live under the final approach of Charle-de-Gaulle Airport.)

  • @chenoir i live on the turning point of the final of runway 24L, 24R and 23. this is in toronto. planes turn over my house to meet the runway and the only two planes that i can tell apart from the others are the roar of rolls-Royce

747 engines and the beastly ear splitting, beautiful sound of the A380! [music to my ears]

  • lol i agree with u man

  • the plane is too big

  • the wing is too big

  • wow. gotta love the airbus a380. its sooooooo quiet! i swear, the flap retractor is louder than the turbines from inside. weird, huh..? truly amazing.

  • In smaller planes you will feel the turbulence like crazy, the bigger the plane the less turbulence you will feel. It is like small boat vs a big ship on a wavy sea. However if the turbulance is really bad, the pilot will change the route. They always get updated about the weather via instruments or radio and I had a case where the pilot had to change the route due to turbulence.

  • reminds me of batman

  • I always get a massive grin on my face when taking off in a plane I love it!! lol

  • WOW! I couldent even tell that the aircraft was running down the runway for takeoff! Truely amazing!

  • of course you did not! that big ass wing of that big ass plane ruined the view, lol

  • impresive video I have been on many different model plane but not an a380 800

  • Nice video - good job and thanks.

Wonder how turbulence feels in such a big aircraft.

  • No loud engine roar during take off, like you had with the DC-10.

  • I was about to say the wing span of just one side is F***KING RIDICULOUS! lol

  • Excellent video, watching the wing gradually taking the weight.

  • Very nice video! 5/5 May I ask you on wich seat you were situated.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Omg! look at that huge wing! XD

  • i know thats like 6 times the normal wing!!!

  • how many m2 is that wing? it's so fucking huge!

  • both wings are 845 m2

  • I could build a nice little house on that wing...very quiet takeoff...I prefer the drama of an MD-80 takeoff at full thrust, but I'm old school.

  • that wing is fucking huge.

  • you could live inside the flap fairings lol

  • i love the sound at 3:43, sounds so cool lol

  • damn, that wing is huge!!

  • These are very early days for the A380. As fuel prices rise - it could well become the only viable aircraft between hub airports. A stretch version with 800-900 passengers and leaner burning engines is in the pipeline. One must think 20-30 years into the future.

  • 20-30 years in the future the A380 would be an old aircraft, and most likely replaced by another type.

  • @PhilG380 The Boeing 747 is over thirty years old. Of course variants of the 380 will be developed but the basis will remain - as with the 747. The aircraft is a technological masterpiece.

  • takeoff is quiet but flaps are LOUD !

  • @rangelso ikr

  • I invite you to also see my videos! To vote, thank you! Super your video, cheer

  • u can't see anything the wing takes up so much room!!!!!!!!!!! i would not sit near the wing! when flying the a380

  • The future for the A380 is doubtful, terrible sales have indicated the aircraft is too big for a diminishing market, middle east carriers account for 70% of its sales, no large U.S. carrier has ordered or even considered its use. Some financial analysts have put the loss figure at near seventy five billion dollars, with no hope of ever recovering any of it.

    There are other issues unfortuneately

  • @starview1

sniff sniff ... smells like fear

  • The A380 can go and land anywhere a B747 can. A reason I highly respect this aircraft is that it dared to challenge the Juggernaut that was Boeing.

  • the A380 can't land anywhere a 747 can, for example the mexico city airport receives a lots of 747's, but cant receive the A380.

  • Mexico Airport is under going renovation to provide ground support for Airbus A380. When people said that Airbus A380 can't land whatever where they want, many airport already upgraded into Airbus A380 friendly field. Time does goes by and will not halt for someone.

  • cool!

  • I'm proud to be an Airbus A380 obessed person, and so are some people watching these videos so please take your hate of a380's to a different place.

  • i wanna fly in one of these but theyre just to big to be called beutiful

  • An absolutely out-of-this-world, mind-blowing video of a magnificent Airbus A380 taking off!

  • haha the flaps are louder than the engines, laaaaame.

  • one of the most beautifullest airplanes ive seen. wish i could fly with one of those. and then go in the cockpit ^^ lovely

  • Loudest flap pack on earth.

  • Yeah, the lift off was pretty soft, but I lol'd when the caption popped up "Thank You For Watching This Very Quiet Take Off On The A380-800" while the flaps were still singing.

  • dont like this plane

  • Ну слоняра)))

  • very loud flap deploys

  • i think that because the aircraft is so quiet other noises such as the hydraulic motor/flap drive is more noticeable

  • damn thats a huge wing!!!

  • how did you get the wing view?

  • Well he turned his head towards the window?

  • beautiful, cant wit for the first class flight on january....thnxx

  • goin on 1 in december yay!

  • That wing looks HUGE up close! What a beautiful takeoff - can't wait to fly one of these!

  • awesome aircraft ! good job ! nice video !!5/5*+favourite !

  • The flaps make more noise than the turbines at takeoff.

  • I like noisy flaps lol

  • you have this impression due to the engines are quite far from you and also the engines are below the wings witch makes a "barrier" for the sound. Plus, the flaps are noisy because he was seated right above the flap engine.

  • thats just crazy look at the size of that wing !!!!! 30 meters, almost the size of a boeing 737 !

  • Rolls royce engines!

  • @dunlrock

do you regret saying that now ?

  • wat seat row is that, going on 380 soon and want the best wing view

  • gruss vom airbuswerk in bremen ;)

  • A very long t/o roll... and an extremely beautiful wing flex. :)

  • the a380 have a big wing!!

  • so 747 is the queen of the sky

and a380 is the king of the sky?

  • more like the wannabe of the sky... :P

  • Man, the flaps are LOUD!!!

  • Sorry, I mean the 777 engines, not the 747 engines

  • lol al the little planes r watching that big mama

  • OMG it's ultra quiet.

  • My family and I might be going to Austraila when we get the chance, so I'm going to see if I can try to get a flight to there in one of these beauts.

  • lol good luck it costs $10,000 at least for a seat.

  • even in coach!!??

  • the cheapest seats are at there absolute lowest $9000 each. ya, crazy expensive.

  • such a big plane being so quiet....very amaizing.

  • a380s go over my house 4 times a day there as quiet as a 737 but when a 747 comes i can feel my house shaking and i cant hear the tv at all...

  • Lucky!! I live by Albany International Airport, and the only loud planes that come over my house hapens 5 times a week. It's a Boeing 727. Is a 747 louder than a 727?

  • 747 is a lot louder lol

  • Really? Maybe the engine sound on the 747 muffle out the flaps sound.

  • The engines maybe quiet on takeoff, but flaps are relatively very loud. Amazing aircraft.

  • Not much flex for such a large wing

  • I didn't know that the A380 was equipped with wing -tip devices.

  • is it even loud outside or is it just the windows blocking the sound
